"The room was clean, facing the expressway. Traffic sounds were a constant moderate hum, but because of that were like white noise. Slept well, the bed was comfortable. Did not realize that parking was not included, so that no bill was a surprise. "

"I would not recommend staying at Quality Inn Mason Near Kings Island. I booked the property through Expedia for a multiple night stay. We flew in on a redeye and checked into the hotel. Being a non-smoking property, the first thing we noticed was a individual smoking outside our room pacing back and forth. You know the type that makes you feel uneasy. This went on for a good 30 minutes. Once I entered the room, I noticed the primary light didnt work. I tried the switch, expected the light and had no luck making it work. I proceeded to bring in my bags, went into the bathroom to wash my hands found the soap on top of the plastic wrapper, already used. Okay, kinda a cleanliness issue that bugged my wife but I continued to settle. My wife was very tired so she laid on the bed to rest. I knew we needed to leave soon so I checked on the alarm clock to set it. It didnt work. Now I am beginning to get annoyed about the quality of the place. I thought I'd get some coffee while my wife slept. This is when I found the coffee maker was absolutely disgusting. The microwave kept beeping every 5 minutes or so. This is when I went upto the office and asked to cancel the reservation and leave. The office manager asked why, I started detailing the issues. He told me I had to pay for 3 of the 5 nights. I was shocked. He said it was because of how I booked it. Major strike against Expedia. Manager did step it down to 1 night. Later I found they charged my card 6 nights and deposit. "

"The shower ceiling had what looked like mold on it. A towels was put on shower floor resulting in a black ring around towel where drain was at. The dumpster was running over, there was a mattress in several bags of garbage lying outside the dumpster. The side entry was dirty and litter on the floor. The place smelled like dog."

"The breakfast was fresh and delicious every morning. The staff (with the exception of the African American lady) were all extremely friendly and helpful. The room was clean and inviting. My family and I enjoyed our stay. We will definitely book/stay again next year when we’re back in Ohio for Nationals!"

"This hotel was just average. It is Definity old. If your room is on the ends, it will take at least 30 minutes for you to get hot water!! And even then, it's not really hot. The breakfast buffet was terrible! It seemed like reheated prepacked foods. Disappointing! The staff were all kind and friendly! It was a disappointment for our special weekend. Not worth the money we paid! "

Once you make it past the entry door, which I presume was kicked in during the last meth raid, the smell of dirty wet dog hits you like Mike Tyson in his prime. The stains on the bed sheets were interesting to say the least. I think the mouse that came to visit had his only little condominium that he accessed through the cracks in the drywall around the tub and toilet. New room? Yes, they claimed to not have any available. In summation, after one sleepless night, a visit from Stuart Little, a meth head prostitute fighting with her pimp right outside of my twisted door that hardly closed, and someone needing the ice chest from the bed of my truck more than I needed it.............Yes, I wouldn't turn around in their parking lot much less stay here again."

"When we checked in we realized our remote for the tv was broken. I mean physically broken. We had to also ask for our own towels, toliet paper, and for them to empty our trash. When checking in they never told us we had to ASK for someone to come refresh our room. They emptied the pool halfway thru our stay and refilled it which meant it was freezing the rest of our time there. The hot tub was ice cold for 3 out of our 5 days until they finally figured out what was wrong. The location was great but the hotel itself was not."
