"We were really impressed. For such a low-cost motel it was great! The gentleman at the front desk was very friendly, our room was clean, the towels were large and good quality, the mattress was a little more firm than what we usually sleep on but still comfortable, the water pressure in the shower was wonderful. The only minor things were the lack of counter space in the bathroom where the good lighting was to do makeup vs the lack of good lighting at the large table/mirror in the main room, the lack of conditioner (they did offer decent quality shampoo bar soap), and the lack of a heater in the room, which fortunately wasn't an issue for us this time because it was still warm enough to not need one. We go to Portland fairly frequently and will definitely be back!"
