Large room with a comfortable King bed. Nice bathroom with plenty of hot water. Nice grounds. Parking is on the premises and secure, but requires a staff member to let you in or out.

Some comments after spending three nights. Pros: *Room is spacious, has an aesthetically nice rustic look, and is clean (see note below) *There is plenty of hot water for showering and there it comes out hot immediately. *A small amount of complimentary firewood is provided. *The hotel has beautiful grounds filled with fruit trees and offers a pleasant place to relax (see note below) *The buffet breakfast is delicious (but a bit limited). *The staff were very nice and attentive to our needs. Cons: *The beds were on the hard side *There was some mold on the shower curtain *The sink basin gets wet readily due to the faucet flow and water drips to the floor. *We could clearly hear the footsteps (and to a lesser extent the voices) of the people in the room above us. The hotel does provide earplugs at no charge. *We were only provided with one bar of soap a night, so we needed to use it for both the shower and sink. I asked the night watchman if he could get us another bar in storage and he said I would need to wait for the cleaning women in the morning. *In the morning, loud banda music was blaring from the raquet court below us, disturbing the tranquility of our stay. All in all, I would recommend Sanduga Suites, but it falls short of excellence due to the shortcomings mentioned above, many of which could be easily remedied.

Was great place to stay Mr Memo ( guillermo) was very pleasant at our welcoming he went a 100 yards to get us wood for the fire places not enough with that he bought us a little heater because at night temperature drops. Breakfast exelent and taste

You need a car to get any where from here

The help leaves at 10 pm, and a family of 5 was about 12 feet from my room. They had a daughter that was literally screaming at 12 midnight. I asked them nicely to please sleep, they just kept laughing. I called the phone number, no one responded. Not even today, 4 days later. I did not sleep ALL NIGHT because of them. It was impossible to reach management her. Also I am upset that hotels.com would even recommend this hotel to me. I asked for central and downtown. I am a senior, and there are so many stairs and no hand rails. I almost fell 2 times! Only restaurant was 5-6 blocks away. To go to the lake or downtown, walk 5-6 blocks, then try to figure out which direction to go.

La habitación tiene chimenea pero no hay cómo prenderla mas que la leña. El personal de servicio se va a las 10:00pm y no hay a quién acudir. Reservamos baño con tina, pero el calentador fue insuficiente, su capacidad totalmente discorde al servicio de bañera contratado, ni siquiera la 1a carga alcanzó a cubrir el fondo de la bañera. En la llamada de información nos dijeron que el desayuno era tipo buffet y no fue así, tampoco suficiente, ni siquiera lo ofrecido en barra como yougurt y fruta. Aunque el personal es muy muy amable, nuestra gratitud.

En la habitación tenia la cabecera floja por lo que provocaba mucho ruido al menor movimiento, tenía dos lámparas fundidas. Nunca nos pusieron jabón en cada día de hospedaje. Muebles inseguros la cafetera arriba de una caja de paja que se caía a cada rato. No existe la alberca. El Porton autoservicio es peligroso por las noches. El personal muy amable.
