Located on the historic district peninsula of Pawleys Island, Barracks is a stunning oceanfront home offering panoramic ocean views, a private covered creek dock with floater, and an abundance of space—making it the ideal setting for memorable family gatherings. Nestled in a more secluded area of the beach, this peaceful retreat provides privacy, comfort, and convenience, all within a short distance from the South Causeway.

The ground floor includes a bedroom with a Queen bed, a set of Twin bunks, and a full bathroom, perfect for kids or extra guests. Upstairs, the main level features two luxurious master suites: one facing the ocean, the other overlooking the creek. Both offer King beds and private bathrooms for a truly restful experience. Two additional bedrooms on this floor include one with two Double beds and another with a Queen and a Twin, sharing a full bathroom. The creekside sunroom offers additional sleeping space with a Queen sleeper sofa, creating flexibility for larger groups.

Rocking chairs line the huge gazebo providing relaxing views of the ocean or walk down the creek dock for crabbing . Ice maker and elevator provide the perfect convenience for easy living!

This year we had some serious fishing, especially at the South End. Evenings we were dockside, some in the kayaks, some waiting for the perfect photo of sunset colors and some just enjoying each other. The week was too short!

We love the layout and the ease of walking right out onto the beach or the back dock. The gazebo is a favorite spot to watch for dolphins in the morning and the sunset in the evening. Also, there are as many bathrooms as bedrooms- big plus!

The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked for cooking. The house was very clean when we arrived and the house was perfect for our grandchildren and our visitors that needed the elevator. While there a turtle laid her eggs and we saw dolphins every morning while we sat out on the lookout. The creek access was perfect for fishing and using our boat.
