Visitors can stop by the resting place of Alice Flagg, the Lowcountry’s legendary ghost whose tragic love storey has fascinated generations. Her grave, marked simply with “Alice,” draws visitors who leave tokens and walk around the stone in hopes of good fortune in love.

Also buried here is James Dickey, acclaimed poet and author of Deliverance. His deep Southern roots and literary legacy make his grave a meaningful stop for literature lovers.
