"We had a great stay. The location is convenient to Bloomington as well as a state park with lake access.The hot tub and outdoor games at the rental were an excellent addition. Each room had their own bathroom and television. Kitchen was decently stocked with both a drop coffee maker and K Cup machine. Front desk staff were exceptionally friendly. "

"Host was outstanding and the place was very comfortable with a nice deck outside overlooking wooded area. The third bedroom had a comfortable bed, but no closet and was small. Acceptable if explained forehanded.The inside is 180 degree's from the outside in appearance.The amenities were great."

"Horrible no running water and no shower"

"Check in/check out process was super easy. We had everything we needed, except for trash bags, which we were able to get from the office. All linens, dishes, silverware, pots and pans were provided. There is a stove, but no oven. I’d advise against buying food from the convenience store down the road from the campground, but if you do, check the expiration dates on everything. I’d definitely check out Lake Monroe. It is stunning! We will definitely be back. My only complaint is the mattress is pretty uncomfortable. "

"It was the perfect family get away"

"My boyfriend and I rented this place because we just wanted a weekend to decompress. When we were looking at rentals, the only thing we wanted was a hot tub, so we were thrilled to find this place at an affordable price with a private hot tub right outside. After reading another review that mentioned that the hot water for the hot tub wasn’t turned on when they arrived, I reached out to Jennifer, the host, two separate times to ask her if there was anything we needed to do with the hot tub when we arrived or if it would be ready for use upon arrival. I was told both times that there was nothing we needed to do and that the hot tub would be ready for use. When we arrived, however, the water was freezing, and we had to call the help number to figure out how to turn the hot water on. The hot tub took several hours to heat up, which meant that we weren’t able to use it the first night, and since we were only there for two nights this was a huge bummer. Other than that, we didn’t have many other hiccups - we did have to go out and buy our own body wash and hand soap on the second day, because there were no shower products provided and the hand soap provided was basically water. On the second night we wanted to shower in the early evening before dinner, but there was no hot water. After calling the help line, we were told someone from maintenance would come out to look at it, but no one ever came. We had an enjoyable weekend but probably wouldn’t return to this particular rental. "
