The atmosphere was very warm and family-like, especially during dinner, which is available on request and felt more like a shared meal among friends than a restaurant experience. The breakfast was delicious and offered a perfect start to the day. All in all, a truly enjoyable and memorable stay!"

" Tout était au top, tel qu'on pouvait l'espérer, sans parler de l'amabilité de la patronne à qui nous avons toutefois signalé qu'une adresse plus complète sur le site Hotels.com aurait permis à notre GPS de nous faire arriver plus rapidement."

"After reading a bad review, we were unsure whether to book but it was unwarranted because our stay was wonderful! The host was welcoming, helping us with a restaurant booking nearby. The room was the largest we have stayed in since travelling around France. It said online it had air conditioning but it had a fan which was sufficient as the large room was very cool."

"Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour dans un cadre magnifique. Détente et bien-être total entre la piscine (trèèèès grande), le parc arboré, le baby-foot, le billard et le beau jeu d'échecs. Notre petit-fils de 13 ans a beaucoup aimé ! Le jeune couple qui a nous accueillis est charmant et très investi. Nous leur souhaitons beaucoup de réussite dans leur projet. "Very cozy B & B in a fantastic location, cozy and clean rooms, really good breakfast, and the most friendly and helpful hosts. There is a nice little pool and hot top. Can be recommended if you want to explore the area."

"L'hôtellerie est un vrai métier et c'est exactement ce que nous n'avons pas trouvé au Relais de la Poste à GOURDON. Le chauffage n'avait pas été enclenché de façon à ce que l'on rentre dans une chambre douillette. Certes il y a une télécommande mais encore faut-il prendre possession de la chambre quelques heures avant d'y dormir. Dans la salle de bains chauffage également au moyen d'une télécommande, sans notice et qui a priori fonctionne en minuterie. Donc mieux vaut se lever au petit matin...

"Our family had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Plaza Madeleine Hotel & Spa during our summer stay in Sarlat. Everything about the experience was close to perfect. The hotel’s location could not be better — right in the heart of Sarlat, just steps away from the charming medieval streets, lively markets, and great restaurants. The service was outstanding throughout our stay. Every member of the staff was friendly, professional, and genuinely attentive, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Our room was very comfortable and spacious, quiet, and spotlessly clean, with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The atmosphere of the hotel, with its elegant decor and spa facilities, made it the perfect base to explore the beauty of the Dordogne region. Both Sarlat and the surrounding area are simply magnificent — full of history, amazing food, and stunning scenery. We truly loved our time here and would return without hesitation. Highly recommended!"

"The property is a charming historic hotel. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The pool was lovely as well, though it was a bit chilly to use it. We enjoyed sitting beside it. Our room was well appointed though cosy. People who enjoy a spacious room would want to specify that when booking. The restaurant is excellent. We enjoyed breakfast and dinner."
