Nestled in a rural area and within walking distance of the East Verde River that runs through the community, this amazing area offers a relaxing retreat for guests. Rim Country Museum and Myra's Art Gallery are cultural highlights, and some of the area's attractions include Rancho Tonto Catch-A-Trout and Tonto Creek Fish Hatchery. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching. With a true rustic cabin feel, Trout Creek Cabin features a king bed, queen bed, and a sofa bed, there's plenty of space for everyone. Other essentials provided include heating, AC, WiFi, fireplace, washer/dryer and kitchen essentials. The bathroom is well-equipped with dual sinks and shower/tub combo. The BEST

I have stayed at many vacation rentals over the years all over the US and this one was amazing. I came in to Phoenix for the first time to visit a close friend who lives locally and she’s already talked about wanting to come back with her family. You can tell the owners care about their guest and really have taken the time to think about what might be helpful for their guests.

Great rustic getaway

Everything was clean and useful. Decorated beautifully and had all amenities you need for a mountain retreat. Pups loved the backyard and playground down the road. Great little community with lovely creek and trails.

Great Getaway

Had a nice weekend getaway! They had everything you would ever need to enjoy the outdoors and we absolutely loved the cabin. Definitely want to go back!

4 generation annual mini-vacay. 74, 52, 21, 10 yr old and everyone enjoyed it! Very nice size, well maintained and furnished cabin, (easy on G-Ma) Short walk to creek, tranquil and peaceful, excellent for the younger guys to fish) The few people we did see were friendly. Were able to watch animals, squirrels, various birds, (entertaining and relaxing for the school teacher) Mostly stayed outside all day, walking, fishing, playing family games, good for everyone) Would definitely recommend this rental-only regret is that we didn't have more time!!

One of the best cabins ive stayed at!

And ive been to a lot. From luxury to very rustic. This one felt extra homey, clean, and cozy. It has everything you need. We very much enjoyed the finishing at the nearby river. We honestly wish we couldve had stayed longer. Until next time? Thank you again!

Outstanding as Always. Truly a home away from home.

This is the second time I have stayed here in the past two years. It was just as wonderful this time as it was last time. The location is perfect, the local area is excellent, and the cabin/home is a place that anyone would enjoy. The property owners/managers are readily available if needed and quick to respond to the needs of the clients. I cannot think of any way it could be better. My adult daughter agrees. We go for the fly fishing, but just "hanging out" is awesome too. Our two dogs loved it. It is truly a comfortable cabin and great for weekends or week long getaways.

Cozy Stay and neighborhood

We enjoyed our stay place is cozy we enjoyed being able to play tennis and basketball near by and walk by creek. This was our first time traveling with our small dogs they loved the out door area. It was gated good for my small dogs.

Fell in love again

This was our second time staying and we fell in love with this cabin again. It’s the perfect spot to build a fire and relax. We found an incredible spot for dinner named Duza’s. I have no idea how a place like this needed up in Payson, but it is outstanding. The yard at the cabin is perfect for our pups. We just love this for a quick getaway from the valley. We did some great hiking just down the road too. Thank you for having us again. We love this cabin!
