    The "Payson Home" is nestled above the trees with views of the Granite Dells Mountain range with unobstructed views of the surroundings. Wake up to the mountain views with a cup of coffee from the deck(s). The interior is comfortable and relaxing with a homey atmosphere. The top floor has a living room with comfortable leather furniture and a Big screen TV, all new appliances and granite counter tops, an imported Italian dining room set that will seat 10 comfortably, 4 island stools.
    Three upstairs bedrooms with a spacious Master Bedroom Suite. The downstairs floor offers 2 bedrooms, bath, an extremely comfortable living room with big screen TV and a huge game room with pool table and ping pong. Plenty of games and puzzles. All the bedrooms have brand new beds that are all comfortable. We offer a work friendly space provided with a desk that has ethernet for fast internet speed. We are pet friendly. There is a pet fee of $25 per pet.
    We also offer a fire pit. We have bundled wood for sale. Plenty of parking in front and back of the house.

    The area offers plenty of outdoor activities including hiking, biking, fishing, boating, golfing, tennis, pickleball, parks, off roading, site seeing, national monuments, Tonto Creek fish hatchery, horseback riding, swimming at The Water Wheel on the East Verde River, boating or fishing at Roosevelt lake, shopping at the many thrift stores and antique shops.

    ATTENTION- this vacation home is located in a quiet family-oriented neighborhood and is only suitable for quieter groups. Our rental policy includes a no tolerance policy regarding excessive noise, occupancy, and parties. Evictions and forfeitures of deposit for any violations of said policies are strictly enforced. Please be sure you are comfortable with these policies before renting The Payson Home.

We had such a wonderful time. The cabin was lovely and well stocked with daily necessities and the beds were comfortable. We sat on the porch and watched the elk and other wildlife. Lots of areas to hike if you wanted. In a great neighborhood and restaurants and stores were within a mile but we still felt secluded. Can't say enough great things about our stay.

Great Stay!

Love this property! Plenty of space for our three families with kids and dogs. Love having a place to hang both upstairs and downstairs. They also provide plenty of dishes in the kitchen for large groups. And the host is very responsive!!

Another great stay!

This is the second stay we’ve had at this cabin and we love it. Perfect location, comfortable, and clean. Doug is a great host and even helped us out with some thermostat issues in the middle of the night. Super nice of him to go out of his way to make sure we were comfortable

Loved this home

This home is beautiful and the perfect size for the family. Very clean and stocked with all the essentials. We loved the game room with pool, ping pong and more games. Our host was very responsive with all correspondence- we would definitely stay here again

It was spacious and very clean and updated. Very Comfy beds. nice big kitchen for family to cook together. We saw Elk in the morning too from balcony. the teens loved ping pong and pool table.

Highly recommend staying in this lovely home

There was nothing about this place that we didn't love. The house is beautiful and worked out great for our group of 6 with 3 animals. The game room is great and kept everyone entertained when we were at the house. The scenery is awesome and all the trails nearby make it great for going out on hikes everyday. Best place we've ever stayed and we would definitely go back!

Wonderful Home for large family or groups

Our family of 11 has stayed in this Beautiful home every Labor Day for 3 years. We all love the nature and the animals that come around. It’s so peaceful and relaxing in the home and on the two decks. With the two living areas it’s perfect for large groups.

Great family vacation home

This property was not only clean, nicely decorated and fully stocked but also provided separate areas for all age groups. The pool/ping pong table was a big hit! We also loved hanging out on the decks and having a fire in the fire pit. The number of bedrooms and bathrooms were perfect for our large family. Doug, the host, is super!

Great Getaway

My family rents a cabin every year between Christmas and New Years. This one is right up there with one of our favorites so far. Location is great, close to grocery stores and shopping but you feel like you are much farther away. So quiet and the view from the back is beautiful. Everyone enjoyed the game room and the kitchen is much larger than we thought from the photos. It's also well stocked for all of our cooking needs. Would definitely recommend this property and would stay here again.

R & R at it's Best!

With plenty of space for all 3 generations. Nana and Pop Pop claimed the comfy Livingroom recliners. Mom and Dad spread out with the kiddos downstairs. Everything we needed to do absolutely nothing was there. We made delicious meals in the fully equipped kitchen while the kids did crafts with Pop Pop on the huge family friendly table. We watched everything from football to "Dory"(for the 100th time) on both greatT.V.s. We are already looking at the calendar to re-book. Thanks Doug!

Great place to stay. Just some little improvements needed

The house is lovely, great location and it has pretty much everything you need. We enjoyed Christmas there with the family and we all were very comfortable, except for the fact that it is listed as 6 bedrooms, one with 3 futons, which in reality is a second living room. It doesn't accommodate more than 2 people. The seating in dinning room and stools might need an improvement, but in general, the house is pretty cute and comfortable. We asked for special accommodations and the owner was very helpful and great in communication, I can not thank them enough. Game room was definitely a great thing to have. Thanks for having us!

As soon as we walked into the home, my adult children were amazed at how beautiful the home is. We opened doors and were very excited at how each room looks. We all started picking rooms. We were 10 adults and 3 kids, and the home was big enough for us all. We had everything we needed. It's well kept, and the view is awesome. We loved it. We went for walks, drove into town to the park, but it was mainly staying inside and played games as a family and cooking and eating. Thank you so much Doug for sharing your home with my family, we created such beautiful memories and for that, I am grateful. We will return in the future. I highly recommend this home. Beautiful property

This is an absolutely beautiful house with a fantastic layout. We traveled with 8 people (adults and teens), and the kitchen couldn’t have worked out better. I swear the kitchen has everything you could need to cook for a large group. All the furniture was comfortable, there were plenty of extra blankets and towels. Plenty of room for everyone to spread out. The neighborhood is so quiet and peaceful. In our first 15 minutes there, a javelina wandered through the yard. The next morning, a couple raccoons jogged past. And on day 3, an elk was just crossing the road. The game room with the pool table and ping pong table was a huge hit with everyone. The owner, Doug, is very friendly and communicative. I highly recommend this house, especially for a larger group. This was a great first experience on Vrbo.

Great home for multiple people

We had our son and daughter, their spouses and kids. I really liked how the layout of the house allowed each family to have their own private section while the living rooms and kitchen allowed for great interaction. We never felt crowded. The ping pong was a hit though we did have to buy paddles due to the poor condition of those on the property. We also purchased repair kits for the pool cues that were broken so we could all play. I really liked the outdoor decks, but was a bit disappointed in the dog from a neighboring home that barked non stop. Not the fault of the property owners but definitely a distraction to the peace and quiet. Kitchen was well stocked with enough utensils, plates, cups, etc. Both floors have a sound system, big TV, ceiling fans in every room, and great AC which was needed while we were. The entire family had a great time.
