"For a new hotel, the room we stayed in was spacious; however, it looked sloppy and run down. Didn't really look or feel new. There were pen marks on the furniture and what looked like marker in the bathroom in the shower. The wallpaper in the bathroom was sloppily done and peeling. A man who worked the front desk was incredibly rude and didn't know what he was doing. I called to ask about some suspicious charges on my card and he hung up the phone in my face because he couldn't explain it. Incredibly unprofessional. Unfortunately this is the newest hotel in Pearland."

"The pool had a few pieces of trash in it, which could have come from the poeple that were sitting out there when we got there, but other than that, the amenities were top notch! The only reason I gave a 4 star is because we had the tag outside our room door to come back later/not enter (however it was worded) and they still came in our room while we were away and cleaned it. While I appreciate wanting to be kind and cleaning it, I don't like the disregard of our wishes in not wanting anyone in the room whole we are gone."

"Our experience was very disappointing for this to be a Marriott. First of all our room was not as clean as it should have been. The room smelled like mildew. There was hair on our bathroom wall in the shower. The refrigerator was being held up by a dirty rag. Dust everywhere. Then we had an issue where the handle fell off the toilet. We left our hotel around noon and told someone was going to fix it. When we came back around 9 PM, it appeared to be fixed, but it was not. The handle fell right off. We called the night manager who tried to fix it, but could not. She called the maintenance guy to come in; I could hear his attitude. In the meantime, we were asked to stick our hand in the back of the toilet to flush it if we needed to use it. NO WAY! She did try to make things better by offering us complementary breakfast in the restaurant, but it was for nothing that we wanted. She also bought us a bag of drinks from the hotel shop. I would’ve been appreciative of it if it wasn’t for the fact that we all needed to use the restroom and it was 10 o’clock at night. My kids fell asleep. The maintenance guy didn’t show up until about 10:15 and when I opened the door and said hello, he said “what up” and walked in. No introduction. He was in the bathroom for about 3 minutes, then said, “have a good night” and let the door slam as he left out. No apologies or anything and woke my kids. The night did get comped for, but I still will not go back to this hotel. Not worth it at all."
