"Wonderful set up. Very clean and the staff couldn’t be more nice or helpful. The location is a bit far (3 miles) from Sleepy Hollow or the Train Station (a little closer) but the buses ($2.75 per ride) are easy to use and there is Über and taxi services ($12-$25) as well. Other than the distance it’s located on a beautiful property set back from the busy road that accesses it. "

"In Peekskill to hike near Bear Mountain, and looking for a reasonable, nice hotel. The hotel was very good - clean, and the staff was very friendly. The food in the breakfast area was more than adequate. Hotel prices are higher than they used to be but what are you going do when you need to stay in a certain area. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. Had some great food and cocktails at The Central restaurant downtown near the train station. It was a bit of a wait, but we were not in a hurry. There’s a nice bar called Apropos at the Abbey spa up on the mountain where you can get the fine dining menu in a more relaxed atmosphere. Try the tuna tartare. Yum. We also walked 15 minutes to the Westchester diner which had an excellent breakfast and coffee. Overall, a very satisfying experience. "
