"Host allowed us to check-in an hour early. The main headline of this property — and the “popular amenities” section — highlights a hot tub, which was one of the main reasons we booked. I understand that things can break unexpectedly, but the hot tub issue was only disclosed one day before arrival (and only after I asked about it). By that time, rebooking wasn’t an option. "The owners spent a ton of money remodeling the place and did a good job. We rented it for the holidays but the day before the cleaners noticed a problem and the owners had to call us to cancel our reservation. At first that sounds horrible, but it was not due to their neglect and had they allowed us to stay the result would have been less then great. I am thankful they sacrificed their income to make sure we did not experience a bad rental."
