"Canyon Lodge is centrally located to the upper and lower loop drives of Yellowstone. The rooms are clean. The staff were excellent. They responded to every request I made with a courteous and professional attitude. I’d strongly recommend staying booking a room 3-6 months in advanced. Since it’s a desirable place to stay rooms get booked quickly."
"I would recommend this property for the entire experience of being close to Yellowstone without crowds. The owner let us eat dinner early as we mentioned we hadn't eaten since breakfast. Accommodating, friendly, home cooked dinner and breakfast. Cabin was immaculate. Lodge is perfect for gatherings like family reunions, etc. Quiet and peaceful. You won't be disappointed."
"Perfect stay!!! Cute set-up from the tepee. Bed comfortable. Shower hot. Coffee maker in the room. Breakfast great and good price. 2 miles to East entrance of YNP. Sitting outside soaking in the sunset, watching a buffalo, 2 Grizzlies and an elk walking right by our tepee, and that, 2 days before our end of the trip. We highly recommend this place. So convenient to the entrance. Friendly and welcoming staff, great souvenir shop and wonderful restaurant. Downsize no TV and wifi, but that's all good, if you got wildlife coming right through, while you sit in the front row. We loved it. "

"Room and decor were very nice, beds comfortable, we had in-room WiFi (which was very appreciated after a couple days off grid!). No AC - same as all accommodations inside the park - and it was a hot rainy night. Thank goodness for the electric fan, as the window was not letting in any air flow to speak of. "
