We loved the very pretty location and particularly having the restaurant on-site. The room was well equipped and had a very comfortable bed. The restaurant itself was delightful, great food and the wine prices were surprisingly reasonable. Would stay again.
Our stay at the lodge was beautiful and clean. The kitchen was totally well equipped and we were able to enjoy making our own meals. Linen and bedding = perfect. Our 2 nts stay was a comfortable and happy one, thanks.
We stayed at the studio suite with a jetted bath. Room was clean and spacious for 3. Bed was comfortable. Staff were helpful when we had issue with the wifi. Restaurant was fabulous. Nice ambience and food was delicious.
A great location clean and friendly staff will come again

Property seems a bit tired. The grounds require maintenance. Room was ok and bed was comfortable. Service received on check-in was disappointing. Was advised that restaurant was closed on both nights of our stay with no explanation ( usually open every night and sign out on road was still advertising it). When asked for an alternative recommendation answer was “ whatever you can find open” . I guess we were travelling during non-peak tourist season but the response wasn’t help promote the town!
Clean, friendly staff, lovely units, and the walks around the property are great for spots to sit and enjoy watching the kangaroos and taking in the serenity of the place 👍💯
Good location, the property is well-maintained but their were obvious signs of ageing. The extra fee if you are late checking out that increases with time was a bit steep. We did'nt dine in the restaurant but it looked nice , but did seem a bit expensive with a focus on the Marron that they grow, If you are lucky enough to catch a fish they will prepare it for a fee. The bed was not very comfortable with a hard mattress. Their is a electric banket provided. The heater worked quickly to warm up the room. The staff we encountered were efficient but not very friendly.
The room and bed were comfy, we had a really good night's sleep! The walk around the lake was easy and enjoyable for everyone young and old:) lovely to see the kangaroos around in the evening, and the ducks in the morning:)
A lovely couple of days in a beautiful location. Great food in the restaurant. Wonderful to see kangaroos grazing on the lawn and a variety of different birds.
Lovely property and the restaurant was great. We had a great German dinner. But the after-checkout service let it down badly. I accidentally broke a glass, reported it at checkout, and was told face-to-face it was no problem. A $10 damage charge then appeared on my card anyway. I've emailed the hotel to try to resolve it and been completely ignored. It's not the $10; it's being told one thing and charged anyway, then getting silence when you raise it. If they handle a broken glass this way, I wouldn't trust them with a bigger issue.

Lovely surroundings. Room and bed were super comfortable. No water for a whole morning, unable to shower or fill drink bottles.
Good base for visiting Pemberton. Family friendly and accommodating staff. Food hearty German influenced. The grounds are extensive and have a wide variety of wildlife. Walking routes nearby.
Very nice place to stay. Stunning surroundings. However, I would not recommend Shefingo's, the restaurant on site. Service excellent but the food that I and my friends had, tasted as was cooked by an amateur.
Good, friendly service. Very tidy room despite its age.
Top quality restaurant with plenty of variety on the menu. Good food, well-presented. Good service.

Very clean comfortable room with all that was necessary had we brought our own breakfast supplies. Friendly staff in a lovely country setting. Dinner in the restaurant was delicious and breakfast was well catered for too. Easy walk around the lake/dam with lots of bird life, plus wallabies/kangaroos to watch.
