"The hotel is a grand building , however our room was small, dated and old fashioned . Extremely tiny bath and a shower with a curtain!! We went for a drink at the bar however, after waiting a while still no bar tender so left . The breakfast was a little chaotic as the hot plate was broken but when it arrived it was tasty and plentiful . There are lots of guests with multiple dogs so if you aren’t a dog lover this hotel is not for you . "

"Pros Lovely property in ideal location. Staff friendly, food was good, plenty of parking, good wifi speed, clean room. Cons Walls were really thin so could hear people snoring in next room and people when they were in the corridor. Bathroom had a musty smell"

"The hotel was clean, the room was modern and comfortable. Breakfast was lovely. However, we were unable to use the pool because the pump had broken that day. Given that the pool was the reason why we chose that hotel this was disappointing. That said, when I raised the issue with management, they were polite and offered a reasonable partial refund, so very positive. My main area of complaint however, is that check in was not until 4pm and check out was at 11am. Why should it take 5 hours to clean a room? This wasn't mentioned prior to booking, neither was an additional charge for use of the car park. Cost for 3 rooms for one night was in excess of £500. I would have expected the car parking to be free. "

"I stayed at this property for a quick overnight stay to catch an early morning ferry across the Irish sea. Very friendly staff at check-in. The room was small, but very cosy with clean sheets and a very clean bathroom. Nice hot on-demand shower in the morning. About a 10-12 minutes from central Holyhead. There is a local bar attached to the property. Very pleasant experience."
