"I have seen some not so great reviews for this place elsewhere and i find them unfair. This place has only been open for 2 months and i think they are on track to be a super success. Rooms are comfortable and the host are WONDERFUL. Some people have complained about proximity to other things ...this place is a bit by itself but penida doesnt really have a booming town anywhere so i dont think its location matters, plus you will likely be renting a scooter once on the island anyway...apit handles...

"This was a beautiful place to stay overlooking rice terrace and mountains. The owner Windu and his family were all very nice and would help me with anything I needed. If you are looking to get away from the crowds and rewind, this is the place. Although I wouldn’t recommend for anyone looking to meet others, as this isn’t a social hostel by any means. Otherwise it is very nice! "

"Stayed for five nights for our honeymoon and had the most incredible time. Beautiful resort with the most professional, kind, warm, friendly, attentive, fun, respectful staff who made our stay so memorable & enjoyable.
Our suite was perfect. The dining options were awesome. And the spa was incredible! Planning to return for our anniversary & can’t wait."
"Our stay at the Grand Hyatt was absolutely beautiful — so peaceful, yet very family-oriented. Our daughter loved the kids club and the waterslide, and the pool areas were pristine. The food, whether enjoyed by the pool or in the restaurants, was first class and absolutely delicious. We will definitely return!

"We loved our stay at Hilton. The resort is so well looked after. It’s super clean, staff are extremely helpful and kind, the rooms are generous in size as well as the balcony. The swimming pools and gardens are wonderful. We ate at the shore restaurant and the pool menu and food was delicious. Breakfast buffet was plentiful. The hotel is only a short drive from the town and 50k rup each way in a blue cab. Definitely recommend it. "
"overall we had a good experience, rooms were clean, pools were clean as well, great service, breakfast was great, not too many options with restaurants, "
"We only stayed 3 nights and wish we stayed more, beautiful resort, awesome pools, staff are fantastic, pool food is awesome and breakfast is unbelievable.
Rooms are slightly tired if I had to say anything critical but still very nice.
Hotel only 5mins walk from main st, you must try Santorini for Greek or Massimo for Italian, both unbelievably awesome restaurants food was amazing"
