"In March 2026 I booked a two-night stay, despite the rough reviews, because my son is really into tennis right now and this trip was his 16th birthday present. The website depicted beautiful and spacious indoor tennis courts and we planned to just play our hearts out. We also planned to enjoy the waterpark and indoor basketball courts. The room was as pictured which was nice. Unfortunately, the restaurants and cafe closed several hours earlier than indicated on the night we arrived and the front desk offered zero suggestions. The next morning we discovered that the indoor tennis courts no longer exist - a massive disappointment considering it was in the low 20's outside with wind gusts up t0 25 mph. The basketball court was blocked off for a gun show the resort was hosting that weekend. The waterpark never opened on Thursday, despite the posted hours, and when it did open on Saturday, we were afraid to go based on the filthy, leaking conditions of the tube slides which could be seen from the parking lot. I contacted Expedia to complain and the hotel was unwilling to offer any amount of refund. They did offer us a late checkout and complimentary breakfast, which was actually lovely, until a baby cockroach walked past our view on the wall beside our table. My son and I made the best of it and there were two employees who stood out, Pablo in management and Louis in the Bistro, but other than them this was a massive fail. The health department should get over there asap. "

"Fantastic location, with the river right outside the door! Very relaxing and cozy, a good place to unplug! I did have to learn how to properly use a fireplace without smoking the place out! Very close to hiking and skiing if that's your thing."

"We had a great time and the house is very impressive and ideal for entertaining. However, there were cleanliness issues and a lot of things left unfixed and/or out of order (i.e.: mini fridge in bar area didn't work, the pool was freezing the whole time, unfilled soap dispensers, ceiling appeared to have blood or wine splatter all over it in the living room, sauna wasn't available for use, tons of cigarette butts in the backyard, etc. etc.) We also were denied both early and late checkout yet the crew was still there at 4 PM cleaning up when we arrived for check-in.Overall, the property is amazing and the place is beautiful, there were just some things that needed improvement."
