"Went to Keuka lake for the eclipse, the house was in a great location, close to Pen Yan and wineries. House had 3 bedrooms and 1 small bathroom. The annex house of which we had access to had another bathroom ( toilet and sink upstairs and a shower down stairs.) The house on the water had great decks to view the eclipse and the lake. "Clouds mad the eclipse on April 8 less than hoped for, but still a wonder, but we had a great family weekend trip thanks to the lovely cottage hosted by Tim and Bonni. "This trip was planned as a girls getaway to surprise our daughter (who has three sons) coming up from Florida for a long weekend. We had such a fun time we decided to make it a yearly tradition. "We had such a great stay here for a week. Being right on the lake brought the four of us the peace and quiet we were all hoping for. Two of us could get cell service and two of us couldn't. My husband and I never missed our phones once. It was just so nice to be steps away from the water. There were kayaks for us to use, paddle boat and a row boat. We used all of them.
