Clean and spacious with awesome views of Seneca Lake

Perfect getaway for our family. We were actually a bit quarantined because of smoke and yet enjoyed the spaciousness of the house. It is also close to wineries, nature and fun for the family.

Great location, beautiful view, excellent accommodation. We spent much time on the deck in great conversation enjoying the views and vibe. A simple suggestion- procure a new toaster!

Fall trip

We had an excellent experience. The home was as advertised. The kitchen was well stocked. We had a very minor issue with the hot water heater. It was addressed immediately and to our satisfaction. Would definitely stay there again.

Special find!

The views from this lakefront home are so beautiful. The home is spacious, open, clean and especially comfortable. It offers peaceful moments to relax and unwind, as well as a game room for some fun. This is a special find!

Friends Gateway

Great views of Seneca Lake! A very spacious house with many amenities for a four couple gateway. We had a lovely stay overall, but we did notice that the outdoor grounds and inside lights could use a bit more attention, as there were many bugs and cobwebs in certain areas. A little extra care in that regard would make the property even more enjoyable. Thank you for hosting us!

This property is ideally located along Seneca Lake and provided us with a wonderful family vacation. The water access was ideal for all ages and the view was magnificent.

Wonderful stay

We really loved this property. The view was outstanding and the house was fully stocked. Instructions for everything was super helpful. Centrally located and no lack of things to do. There were 8 of us and plenty of room for everyone. The openness of the kitchen/dining/living room was really nice as everyone was always involved wherever they were. I would absolutely stay here again.

What a great stay

Serenity place was the perfect location for a 30th birthday weekend celebration with friends. Conveniently located on the Seneca lake wine trail and with direct access to the lake, this home truly had it all.

Great Property/Location

My friends and I had a great stay here. Plenty of space, beautiful scenery, and no shortage of things to do. Access to the boat lift was helpful. Conveniently located between Penn Yann, Geneva, and Watkins Glen. Highly recommend for anyone wanting to enjoy the Finger Lakes.

A perfect stay!

Accommodations were fantastic. Despite some terrible weather we had everything we needed to entertain adults and 4 kids. The entertaining space downstairs with toys, games, fooseball table, pool table and hot tub were an awesome addition. Great communication from the management company. Beautiful lake views. Would definitely recommend.

Disappointed

While our time spent with our children for three nights/4 days was wonderful, The property itself was not as expected. The bathrooms and bedrooms were clean however, there is a lot of deep cleaning needed at this home. The windows were dirty, which made viewing the lake, not pleasant from inside. The sliding doors don’t work great, and only a couple had screens which were ripped and dirty, and difficult to slide. The basement area could use a fresh coat of paint, especially going down the stairs. There was ping-pong in a pool table, which was super fun, but the accessories are falling apart and need to be replaced. The home didn’t have a comfy feel to it especially since our stay was during the holiday that would have been a nice touch. There was a sad, looking artificial tree that had two strings of lights on it and one string didn’t work. There were excessive amounts of notes everywhere in the home, which was information included in the email from the property manager via email, as well as in binder. The floors are exceptionally squeaky to the point where it would wake people up sleeping in the nearby bedrooms either below or next to the bathroom on the first and the second floor. The area is wonderful the town is nearby. The lake is beautiful. Please take these as constructive criticism to give your renters a more pleasant experience. My family and I travel a lot and use VRBO This was not one of our favorites

Grown sibling getaway

I was looking for a house that could comfortably hold 5 adults in separate rooms. Serenity place was perfect! Although also good for families with children, there were 5 bedrooms and all had double beds. (Also two addt’l single beds, one a top bunk, that we did not need.) The pool/ping pong and fuseball tables were all enjoyed. As well as the hot tub, fire pit and kayaks. Truly, everything we needed to have a fun vacation was there. The location was also fantastic; on the west side of Seneca Lake it was conveniently located to a lot of attractions (Watkins Glen State Park, WG Raceway, towns of WG, Penn Yan, Seneca. And, of course plenty of wineries.) The house was also spotless! Beautiful decks. Truly, there wasn’t anything missing and we will definitely stay here again.

Amazing Lake House

Wonderful week on the lake. Great location for boating, bike riding on the Keuka Outlet Trail, going out for dinner, & wine tasting. Home had a lot of great amenities and high quality appliances.

Serenity on Seneca Lake

We’ll equipped lakefront home. Accommodated 8 adults and a 7-month old child comfortably for 2 weeks. Four adults of our party worked remotely a few days with no Wi-Fi issues. Crib and high chair were obviously a welcome feature for the child. Kayaks a plus. Communication with management was great. They are very responsive.

All Signs Point to a Great Time!

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. House was clean and had plenty of space for our group of 10. The view was amazing from the deck and dock. We enjoyed paddling in the kayaks, playing games, cooking family meals together, soaking in the hot tub, and sitting by the firepit at night. We took in several hikes, visited nearby towns, and sampled local wine, beer, and ice cream. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Serenity Place

We had an exceptional family vacation at Serenity Place. The property is beautifully situated right on the lake, great amenities. The house is lovely, spacious, and well equipped with everything you need. The management company provided excellent communication, and the check in process was easy.

Perfect Serene Oasis

This house on the lake was absolutely PERFECT for getting away from it all with some friends. The listing was pretty spot-on - nice, easy access to the water, and everything was clean and in good shape. The kitchen was well-stocked, and there was plenty of bedding, towels, etc. Good, quick communication from the owners. Although the neighboring houses are relatively close by, the trees on either side make it feel like you’re alone on the lake. NOTE: as of our trip in May ‘23, Google Maps was leading us astray - it tried to take us down Hansen Point Rd off of Rte 14, instead of the correct Perry Point Rd, which is about a mile up the road.

Amazing Views

Our stay was great, the house was clean and probably the best well stocked from any rental I've ever stayed in! The location was picture perfect and want to come back to stay when it's summer time but I would be weary staying here in the winter, the roads to get back there are very steep and when leaving our stay it was snowing and we had trouble getting out!
