"The owner has personally built a superb shepherds hut escape . Hut was of the highest standard and thoroughly thought out . Shower was a delight , bed very comfortable. Kitchen well designed in a limited space . This hut has two comfortable chairs to relax in . Wood burning stove was not lite as property was so well insulated . Outside was so well designed, in the summer would be perfect . Close to A30 so some noise which for me was noticed as I live in the countryside without background...

"The Pod was amazing, we don’t think the photos do it justice! We had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay and would love to visit again. Kevin and Michelle have thought of everything and were excellent with communicating details for directions and check in/out times. The location is brilliant, so close to St Ives and Carbis Bay, and the main bus route is right on the main road. Would highly recommend to anyone considering staying here. "

"The incredible welcome started before we even arrived, with excellent communication from the owner before our stay and on the day of our arrival. "The hotel is well situated on the main road in Long Rock with parking. It was a good price with breakfast.There's a bus stop nearby for buses to Penzance, St Ives, Truro etc. The hotel has a bar for residents and locals. The room was basic but clean with a comfortable bed, tea/coffee supplies, a small wall mounted TV and a sink. The staff were friendly and helpful. I booked through Hotels.com and it wasn't obvious that the bathrooms are shared, in fact there's no mention of it. I did book a 'basic twin room' and I expected an en suite, although for the price I paid, maybe that was a stretch. The downside of being on the main is a lot of traffic noise. The wifi wouldn't connect in the room but it did downstairs in the bar."
