"Staff was very accommodating, it was a great stay"

"So let’s talk about WoodSpring Suites Pensacola West or should I say survival training facility with a front desk.😂 From the outside? Honestly, not bad. I pulled up thinking, Okayyyy, this might actually be a hidden gem. Then I opened the room door and immediately felt like I time-traveled back to 2007. The room wasn’t terrible just lightly seasoned by history. Now let’s discuss the bed. Every time I moved, that thing sounded like it was filing a workers comp claim. I rolled over once and the frame screamed louder than my kids at Disney. I’m pretty sure the people upstairs knew every time I adjusted my pillow. Bathroom amenities? Let’s just say they believe in minimalism. One tiny round soap bar that looked like it came from a dollhouse starter kit, 3 towels, and two microscopic shampoo/body wash bottles. I’m 6’2”after one shower those little bottles looked at me and said, That’s all you get big fella. Had to make an emergency Walgreens run just to feel human again. The TV had about 30 channels, all apparently selected by someone’s retired uncle. No movie channels. No excitement. I spent more time reading the microwave instructions than watching television. Would I stay again? Maybe… but next time I’m bringing my own towel, shampoo, body wash, snacks, entertainment system, emotional support pillow, and possibly a carpenter to tighten the bed frame. Overall review:
If you just need a place to sleep and don’t mind a little adventure, go for it. But pack like you’re going campi"

"Homeless very scary people were living in back of the parking Dead cockroaches trash, and leafs and debris were in the elevator, sidewalks, and the room. Tried La Quinta, will go back to Best Western. Lady at front desk did not speak English."

"The staff was great especially at the front desk. Overall, it looks clean but when walking with socks, our white socks turn black. The tub was clogged so every time we showered, it filled up pretty quickly. The location was very convenient for my needs. Overall, it wasn't too bad. I wish we had more option for breakfast. Parking was great!"

"This place was filthy. The bathtub had dark mold on it, the drain had black stuff around it. The frame around the mirror at the sink was filthy, I got a washcloth and wiped some of it. I could not believe my eyes. The faucet was about falling off. The shampoo was clogged up in the shower.I am highly disappointed in this hotel."

"Was not able to get the room we reserved they tried to give me a room not handicap accessible but telling me it was. Poor communication. Luckily one front desk clerk was able to figure it out and I was to get a handicap accessible room but not the suite I reserved prior to arrival they blamed it on Expedia. They need to know what is in there rooms. "
