"Overall the room and building was nice, however on the last full day of my stay the toilet broke. The handle broke when I went to use it and the toilet wouldn’t flush at all, it wasn't a big deal at first, I told the morning staff at the front desk between 7am-8am, he said the maintenance man would be in at 11am and he would have him look at it. I returned to the hotel around 4pm and the toilet was not fixed. I notified staff again when I was leaving about the toilet and the lady didn’t seem to care, I returned to the hotel again around 6pm and the toilet was still broke. It was disappointing to have no effort given to resolve this issue, I went through the lobby multiple times and nothing was said to me about the toilet. I don’t believe the maintenance man even looked at the toilet, so he either didn’t care or the staff never informed him. I’m Disappointed in the staff for not making this a priority especially since I gave them all day to fix it. Even if I was given an alternative option for using the restroom at the hotel I would’ve been fine with that, I didn’t even get as much as an apology. "

"The staff was very friendly and the room was clean and spacious. It’s in a good area. The reason for the poor review is that the fire alarm went off for the entire hotel around 9pm. That’s not an issue to me for an actual emergency, but there wasn’t one. No one on staff addressed or instructed anyone there as to what was going on, or assisted guiding anyone I could see in exiting the building. There was no follow up after the fact to confirm that all was well, or to see if anyone needed help back up or room keys replaced (several families rushed out of their rooms without their room keys and were locked out) people just dissipated back to their rooms when the alarms finally stopped if they had that option. If this had been an actual emergency I don’t believe anyone there had a plan. I asked the evening and morning managers what happened. Don’t expect details if it was due to a crime or individuals medical emergency, just a general explanation. Neither knew and wrote it off to someone vaping in the hall or trying to smoke a cigarette. I don’t think the morning crew even knew what I was talking about. I was there on a work trip and have to be up very early. The entire hotel was “evacuated” and no one could provide an explanation as to why. I’m thankful it was seemingly a false alarm, but needless to say I did not rest easy the rest of night and would not put my safety in their hands again. "

"Breakfast as pretty tasty. Had cheesy hasbrowns which is good and different for a choice hotel. Seems little rough and worn in place but did its job for the night anf everything worked."

"The hotel carpet is absolutely disgustingly dirty in hallways. Our door looked like someone had tried to pry it open at the lock. Inside paint was chipped everywhere. While we were there the first night there was a racket and my son saw a half clothed man handcuffed by cops right outside our bedroom door. Quite scary. We barricaded in for the rest of our nights and swore to never return to this particular hotel. The breakfast (which we only had one morning) was not as plentiful in options as many other buffet but it was clean and the gal who worked in there was particularly pleasant and conscientious. "
