The hotel as a whole is beautiful. Great location on the lake and literal steps from the farmers market. The view from our room onto the lake was beautiful. The room was a bit dated, but it was clean and the beds were comfy

The grounds and walking paths were very nice (we were there in October). The restaurants were very good, particularly the Hooded Merganser. However, the bed was TERRIBLE and we subsequently had a very poor sleep for the 2 nights we were there. If we were planning to be in the city longer, we would have changed hotels.

We stayed there because our daughter and BF whom we visited, live across the street. Hotel was very good, clean, nice rooms, helpful staff and well priced, good breakfast menu. Only drawback is partygoers and guests noisy at nighttime in parking lot. Seemed to be a problem on weekends mostly. Would definitely stay there again, trying to avoid Saturday nights.

This property's main "superpower" is its location. It seems to be the only hotel directly in the middle of downtown. From this hotel, you can walk all around the downtown area. It also has a private beach attached to the hotel.

Overall a great experience. Clean room and the staff was lovely. My only criticism would be the hot water in the shower took forever to warm up and when it did it wasn't very hot. Would stay again.
