I was in Penticton for a workshop and needed a safe comfy place for one night, Valley Star provided this and more. I prefer a single level older style motel where you can park outside your door. The grounds were neat and clean, my room had a small patio, table & 2 chairs, fridge with freezer, microwave and a 2 burner cooktop with sink and sufficient cookware, small appliances, dishes and utensils for 1 or 2 people to easily stay several days. I arrived a little later than expected, reception was very friendly and helpful, taking me to the room. Highly recommended, a very good motel and is a very short walk to Skaha Lake beach. This will be my lodging of choice when in Penticton.

The staff reception was very friendly and welcoming. The room was very clean and quiet. We were given a referral to a very good restaurant. A very pleasant stay. If we need a room in Penticton again, this is where we will go.
