  • Welcome to Lantern Condos at Lumberyard Lofts, a comfortable and flexible group stay just one block from Lake Pepin, the beach, and marina in the heart of Pepin, Wisconsin.

    This combined listing includes Raindrop Condo and Mist Condo, offering a total of 3 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, 2 kitchens, and multiple living spaces. The layout is ideal for families, wedding groups, and friends traveling together who want to stay close while still having some separation between spaces.

    Raindrop Condo features two bedrooms, a large living area, a fully stocked kitchen, a spacious deck, and a jetted tub for two (or three!) and is pet-friendly, making it a great place to relax after a day at the lake or attending nearby events.

    Mist Condo offers a more relaxed and cozy space with one bedroom, a full kitchen, a spacious living and dining area, and a private yard. It also includes a pull-out sofa for additional sleeping and is pet-friendly, making it a great option for guests traveling with dogs.

    Together, the space comfortably accommodates 6 to 8 guests, with optional airbed kits available for additional flexibility.

    Each kitchen is fully stocked with cookware, bakeware, dishes, and utensils, along with coffee, spices, tea, and sugar. We also provide towels, soap, shampoo, conditioner, and a full set of beach towels and bags for your stay.

    Outside, guests can enjoy a mix of spaces including a private yard, a large deck, and shared fire pits and grill areas, offering plenty of room to relax and gather.

    The location is one of the biggest advantages. Guests can walk to the Pepin Beach and Marina, as well as local favorites like the Harbor View Café, the Pickle Factory, and the Laura Ingalls Wilder Museum.

    The train tracks are a block away, and while you can't hear them through the thick walls, you may feel a subtle vibration in the condo as a train passes through.

The location was perfect for the wedding we were attending. The place was clean great for a weekend with friends. There was both a bar and coffee shop within a block or two. The large deck in autumn was great for early evening sitting. And, the hosts were very responsive to my questions.

The interior of the Mist room smelled very musty and moldy. There were cobwebs on the curtains, dead and live spiders on the window sills. The entrance was extremely dirty with cobwebs, dirt, leaves, and poison ivy in the supposed sitting area. The Raindrop room- the upstairs was clean, but the downstairs basement smelled as well. The area for laundry was dirty and disgusting in the garage. The entrance to the Raindrop has poison ivy along the only entrance up the stairs. The Rental property would not agree to a refund. We had to leave and find a hotel to stay in. There is a huge garbage dumpster in front of the property(they don't show you that in the photos) and 2 garbage buckets upon arrival. There is a large dead tree branch hanging over the entrance stairs that looks dangerous. Stay Clear of this property.
