It is a quaint open floor plan with one full bathroom. All
linens and towels are provided for your stay, so pack
light -- or bring your winter gear and enjoy the ski
slopes at Whitetail Ski Resort!
There is a long, flat, private, paved driveway.

Exactly as pictured...Totally adorable!!!

My daughter and I stayed here this past weekend. She turned 18 earlier in the month and just committed to a college finally so it was just a little getaway for us but the property is exactly as pictured. Totally adorable!!!! Everything is so clean, quiet and relaxing. No complaints from us whatsoever. We plan on returning for sure!

Cozy location with great views. All processes went smoothly.Turing the car around at the end of the long driveway was a little tough but not terrible - might be harder with a large car or truck.

Great stay!

My husband and I had such a nice, relaxing stay. We enjoyed our coffee on the porch listening to the wildlife. The bed was comfortable. The location is close to everything, yet tucked away and private.

Birthday Trip

We absolutely loved our stay at the Owl Chalet. The location was perfect and very private. I could not take my eyes off the mountain! We spent most of our time on the screened porch and enjoyed the rocking chairs. The beds were cozy and clean. We spotted a friendly red fox in the area. Overall 10/10 and would love to come back!

Perfect Get Away!

What a cozy little surprise this cabin was. Everything you'll need is at your finger tips and town is just a few minutes up the road if you forget something. A great hide away for two or a small family. And if you're thinking about tiny living, rent this cute little place first.

Secluded and scenic

It was great. Enclosed porch was very peaceful. We heard/saw a couple of ravens (which was pretty cool). There was a bird's nest right outside the loft window. Awesome to see the birds go in and out of it in the morning. Great for a getaway with your significant other!

My wife and I had a fantastic time staying in this cabin We absolutely loved it Location is perfect not far from a lot of things to do Although Saturday was a rainy rainy day that didn’t stop us from getting out and doing some things we wanted to do We definitely will book this cabin again

No houses in sight!

The cabin was the perfect size, not to big and it had everything I needed for a get away. I liked the fact there are no other cabins or houses in sight just a view of trees and a valley beyond. The inside is cozy, well decorated and definitely had a log cabin feel. I will be visiting again in warm weather.

Cozy little cabin

The property was beautiful, quaint and quiet. Everything was clean and as pictured. We got a good bit of snow our first night and it was plowed and taken care of right away in the morning. My husband and I would stay again. The only downfall was the size of area to turn around but we were able to achieve it even in our F150.

Lovely Cabin in a Paw Paw Forest

If you like the mountains and the woods, this beautiful cabin is the perfect spot. The porch is so relaxing with a breathtaking view. The inside of the cabin is quaint and comfortable. My friend and I brought our 3 year olds and they loved it too! We brought a kiddie pool and sidewalk chalk which was perfect for the patio. The owner even let us use the amenities and the central area of the property. Complete with mini-golf, outdoor bowling, a lake, bonfire pit, and more. Lots to do on the property itself but we also ventured to Berkeley Springs, WV (about a 25min drive) and Cowan’s Gap Lake and Beach in PA (about a 50-minute drive). Would love to go back to this place!

Perfect mountain retreat!

Owl Getaway was the perfect place for my husband and I to spend our anniversary. The cabin was perfectly sized for the two of us! The loft bed was really comfortable and had way more headroom than I thought it would. We enjoyed sitting on the screened in porch watching the sun set, or strolling down the private lane after dinner. We enjoyed the fire pit one late afternoon as it took the chill off just enough to enjoy sitting outside in the beautiful woods. We loved the secluded feel to this location! We also explored several of the nearby towns: Berkley Springs and Hancock. Both had lots to see and do! We also went hiking at Eidolon Nature Preserve in West Virginia. That was a beautiful hike along the mountain ridge that led to a preservation house with a lovely view! I will be recommending this home to all my friends and family. Lord willing, we can return again one day! Thanks for a great stay!
