"We were a little confused about the number of bedrooms, listing details said two bedrooms. There was only the one seperate bedroom with a double bed and a travel cot. The Sofa bed was in the lounge area. It was not a problem for us but could be if you really need two seperate bedrooms. It was lovely and clean throughout and the front terrace was a lovely sunny spot all day! Our host, Fred was lovely, very discreet but available if we needed anything."

"This unit is in a great area of Périgueux, just across the river from the centre of the city. I loved the location as it was an easy walk to the cathedral and the market held in that part of town; there are restaurants, cafes, and boutique shops near the cathedral; an easy walk to the Intermarché for my supplies; an even easier walk to a wonderful patisserie/boulangerie (try the croissant for sure, the best I have had in a long time). Jocelyne was a great hostess and very easy to reach by...

"We thought this place was wonderful. The living/dining room was well appointed and the kitchen had everything we needed. There is a balcony looking over the ruins of the nunnery and the town. Bed and bath were very nice, and I appreciated the washer. Caroline was helpful, and brought peaches from her garden: delicious. One caveat: 2nd floor means "climb 2 long flights of stairs"."

"Emplacement idéale pour visiter la région. A deux pas de Périgueux et de la voie verte pour se promener et faire des randonnées et du VTT (parcours de trail). La propriétaire très gentille et elle a su répondre rapidement à nos besoins. Location au 1er étage d'une maison très spacieuse, bien aménagée. Le plus : draps et lingeries compris dans le prix et tout le nécessaire à disposition. Je recommande cette location Merci Christiane."

"L appartement est bien placé toute ma pied Par contre la salle de bain est dans un état déplorable et non mentionné sur les photosEt le lit de la chambre où il y a la table à langer une catastrophe Il s effondre complètement Certains volets ne s ouvrent pas bien C est dommage car l appartement est beau mais il faut rénover la sdb et changez le matelas de la chambre Les serviettes n étaient pas présentes quand nous sommes arrivés mais la conciergerie a été hyper réactive elles étaient dans le...

"We throughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful gite. Alun & Sandra gave us a very warm and friendly welcome, and were perfect hosts. We really enjoyed their company. The location was just perfect as we were seeking tranquility and relaxation. The local town of Brantome is only a 10min drive away, and it is a beautiful town. This was a perfect base to explore the local area. So pleased we booked, and we have taken away happy memories "

"Our room was spotless, well-equipped and supremely comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was very good. There is very little you would walk to from here, but if you have a car this is an excellent stop. "

"Brief overnight stay going from north to south of france. The private parking was nice, the pool was nice (for the kids, I didn't go down), the extra seating looked nice, but I didn't utilize it. The rooms, while weren't 5 star, were perfectly nice and clean. The only reason i gave it 4 stars for cleanliness was the carpet on the stairs. That should def be replaced. The owners were lovely and helpful. And the town turned out to be great as well."
