"Nous avons passé un très bon week-end 15 personnes dans le gîte de Jean-Paul. Il se trouve face à l’église dans un petit village très calme. Le fait que chaque chambre ait sa salle de bain apporte beaucoup de confort. La cuisine est peu vestuste et manque de rangement pour les courses mais on s’adapte ! "I had a lovely week, away from it all, in Haute Correze. I love the area though I wasn't familiar with Ussel and its surroundings but found loads of new places to see and things to do. The accomodation was very spacious (I was alone), the dining room, kitchen and bathroom all well- equipped. I was there during a heatwave and the terrace was sometimes just too hot to sit out on, but still an asset to the property."

"Our 3 week tour starting in the Ardeche valley, culminated in our last of 5 hotel stopovers being at Croix de Reh due to its proximity to the Lac de Vassiviere - a stunning location - pre planned on our trip. Croix de Reh was far and away the best of our hotel experiences on our entire trip. The property itself is full of old world charm and our room was spacious and extremely comfortable. Owners Peter and Galla are friendly and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble in making us feel at home. Peter was on hand with a beer and a chat by the pool. And Galya prepared some fantastic meals. All at a very competitive price. We have no hesitation in offering the strongest recommendation for hotel Croix de Reh. "
