"We had an absolutely tremendous stay at Chateau d'Ortafa! Our hosts were friendly, very accommodating and gave good advice about places to visit. We stayed in the Picasso suite which was very clean and comfortable with a beautiful view. The chateau itself is very beautiful and our highlight was eating breakfast on the terrace with fresh croissants and home made yoghurt. The location is rural but there are many coastal towns and places to visit about 15-25 minutes by car, so would recommend...

"This chateau or "grand maison" provided everything my group of 18 expected. The house is beautifully maintained and presented. The host is very helpful and easy to deal with. The building consists of 4 floors with ensuites in all but one of the 13 bedrooms, and each floor has its own kitchen. There are facilities galore from a swimming pool to a mini tennis court. "Beautiful building with a gorgeous flowering almond tree on the front terrace. The sound of the Tech river from my balcony is magic. Excellent bed and linens. The breakfast is good (11 Euros) but the tea and coffee are awful due to the chlorinated water. "Ambient music" in the reception area, bar and dining room is annoying noise. Very friendly service."
