"It is a nice quiet location. We enjoyed sitting on the porch in the evening porch having dinner. The area around the quarry for swimming was great to have. The space is tight, but has lots of sunlight and with the orientation of the house, the bedroom gets morning sun and the sunset can be seen at night."

"Charming little cottage by your own swimming quarry. There's a great big kitchen (a must for Vinalhaven!), a fire pit out back, and the sounds of the sea and a skyful of stars to keep you company at night. We had a great time, and we hope we'll be back."
