"Our first trip to Stirling and The Stirling Highland Hotel was the perfect hotel for the trip. A beautiful building with friendly helpful staff located in the centre of Stirling. So we were able to park the car for two days and walk everywhere. The only time we drove was up to the Wallace Monument. "

"Lovely property, excellent service, and marvelous food. The bartender said he didn’t really know cocktails which was a bit surprising and a tad disappointing. Would have loved to go stalking but discovered we had to reserve that in advance. Will know next time."

"Very quaint hotel - lots of history. Bit like a rabbit warren inside so finding the room itself took patience :-) Staff were very friendly and helpful. The Adam Restaurant is a superb room with high curved ceilings and decorative plasterwork. Signage to the rooms and stairs could be better, and the bathroom was a bit tired but clean and functional. The multi storey car park is ony a 5 minute walk away. Hotle ideally situated near the Perth Museum, the cafe quarter and the shopping area with the River Tay only 100 yards walk."

"Great hotel, but uber to the city center to meeting points for tours and such was roughly 30 pounds each way. So 60 pounds daily. It’s about 8 miles but takes 30-45 min depends on traffic. "
