A beautiful summer's trip

A very niche little getaway tucked away in the hills. A lovely feel to the place and the host Paul could not have been more helpful The pool was crystal clear and beautifully maintained.

Fun and excellent experience. The upstairs bedroom and fireplace are incredible. A special design.

Excellent hosts. Very special upstairs main bedroom. The fire place was incredible, to experience. Close to all the things you would need. Very beautiful property, And stunning walk wit flowing water nearby. My feedback would be tea bags and small milk provided.

Great hosts and very nice location

Checkin did not work as expected- (due to Stayz processes- which is why it's only a 3*. ) But both Paul and Abel did all in their power to make things still work, Both are extremely friendly, helpful and generous - so all of the family ended up having a great time. Thanks Paul and Abel

Lovely place for a short break

Very nice peaceful getaway with lovely surroundings. Abei was very helpful and attentive. It exceeded our expectations and will definitely consider coming back.

Not pet friendly. No fencing. Rotten fruit in bowl. No milk for coffee. Had a fire which smoked out the whole cottage and had to sleep with all doors open to clear it, so all my wedding clothes smelt of smoke. Place is tiny.

My friends and I had an amazing time staying at the Getaway! The house, pool and garden were absolutely beautiful! We all walked away feeling very relaxed. Check in/out process is very easy and the house was lovely and clean. Thank you Paul and Abei.

The place was beautiful and the owner guy was lovely but the lady for the bookings was very strict on early checkin. 3pm check in and check out 11am is pretty crap and even on request they would not allow early check in. Cant see how it would take 4 hours to clean 1 x house unless someone trashed it. wish i had a tv as the wifi was not great my phone just would not connect. Everything else was amazing so thank you.

Getting away from it all at "the getaway"

What a total escape from city life! Surrounded by nature and birdsong. Old and quant but so comfortable and clean. We especially loved our night in front of the open fire and the big comfy bed and pillows. Would highly recommend staying here!

An authentic and peaceful get away and sanctuary perfectly located for walks and to see the area
