We stayed in the new section of the hotel made primarily of local stone. The interior design as well as the exterior are so chic, tasteful and of excellent quality. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The dinner and breakfast, and food from the snack bar are all outstanding. The wine tour was wonderful. 10 out of 10.

Excellent facilities and outstanding food & wine. We much enjoyed our two nights stay here. On a scale of one to ten this is a clear 9. Only those tiny details refrain us from a ten. Such as the wine tour where we met in time but it had started. Down at the parking check-in all good but some improvements perhaps when guests are down there during the stay for other reasons such as a waiting for a cab. Felt a little lost when you are kind of overlooked. Still, all in all our warmest recommendations👏👏👍

Absolutely stunning property and incredible overall stay-beautiful room in Eira lodge, incredible breakfast daily (many items grown and/or baked on property), gourmet dinner and wine pairings, relaxing spa amenities and pool and lots of places to walk or hike to enjoy the view. Interesting and innovative wine tour with delicious tastings. Staff were exceptionally lovely and helpful to ensure every moment was enjoyed. We had an unobstructed view of the vineyard and property from our balcony/front porch and enjoyed some Quinta do Vallado port tonics and wine each evening. An absolutely tranquil place and experience-we will be back.

Absolutely beautiful place. We stayed in a modern room - number 1 - with a beautiful outdoor patio and separate balcony overlooking the town. A tub & a shower! Lovely lobby area with multiple seating options, fireplaces and outdoor gardens. Highly recommend! Breakfast was plentiful and Delicious!
