The Inn at the Tides

10/10 Excellent

"We were given a bottle of wine on check in and it was white. I mentioned that we preferred red and the red wine appeared before we had a chance to unpack. We requested a ride to the restaurant across the street after drinking wine and the maintenance van arrived within five minutes to take us there and pick us up after we had eaten. All staff were very efficient and friendly."

"Nice repurposing and modernizing of an old motel. Stylish colors and cute art. We chose it for the pool because we knew it was going to be hot in Santa Rosa by June. Unfortunately they booked out our king room so we were "upgraded" to a double queen(??). Not that big of a deal but when you book something you want and get something different it's kinda annoying. The pool area is like a little haven from the boulevard, and there's some nice big trees for buffering and privacy. Although, we didn't know there was a theme night happening with music. Which is totally fine but damn...it was LOUD. Like unnecessarily extra LOUD. So it was hard to relax after a long, hot drive. But the pool temp was nice, everyone was friendly and the hot tub was great after the music stopped and the area cleared out. (Side note about the hot tub: the seating texture is crazy uncomfortable. Like poky sharp texture. Bring something to sit on like a hand towel.) Will probably stay again maybe when its not so busy. There's a Vietnamese restaurant like a 2min walk away which is convenient, and its good."

"We were very happy with our stay at Napa Winery Inn. Excellent location, a great restaurant next door, and open space to gather. Being a smaller hotel, it was very easy to enter and exit quickly and all of our requests were handled promptly and with genuine care. The staff was very attentive. We enjoyed a compliementary wine tasting in the lobby from a local vineyard and appreciated the list of recommended area restaurants and local discounts! We will definately recommend Napa Winery Inn to friends!"

Marin Suites Hotel

8/10 Good

"We liked the large hot tub and the outdoor pool area. Our one bedroom suite was spacious and conveniently located on the first floor near the pool. The only negative was the smell in the room. At first we thought it was overuse of cleaning supplies, but it did not lessen at all in three days. We think they may have been trying to mask pet odors (we did not bring a pet). We liked it enough that we would stay there again if we could get a room that was not pet friendly."
