Only 3 blocks to cool shops/downtown. Your own patio, private entrance, light & roomy, EZ street parking, well equipped full size kitchen, a desk, in unit w/dryer, quality linens, cleaning supplies. Great for couples, wfh, to visit relatives, exploring the coast, or relocating. Please NO parties or gatherings. 2 person maximum (child under 12 okay if requested), no smoking or pets, no parties or gatherings. Perfect for getaways, a home office retreat, or an in-between homes staycation. Gated separate entrance: the ultra clean flat is sanitized, with no shared air exchange. Airy and light full ceiling height, with a front garden view. Easy first floor access with one step in a stylish updated 1900 Victorian. Our home is actually a triplex, we live upstairs and there is one additional Master Suite unit (separate entrance and patio) we use for family that you share one wall with. Occasional faint footsteps and plumbing sounds may sometimes be heard. We value our visitors privacy, but are available if you have questions or need recommendations. This Flat is a legal separate apartment, not a converted garage or add-on, with convenient street parking right up front. Fresh top quality top to bottom remodel, all new hardwood floors, well equipped high end stainless steel kitchen with full size stove/oven, dishwasher, big fridge. A spacious 640 sq feet with comfy large living room, master bedroom, full bath with tub, new 55” Smart TV, air conditioner, room fans, ironing set up, your own brand new washer dryer inside your apt (free of course), your own on demand water heater, cable and fast wifi. Comfortable queen bed with quality linens in large bedroom, full closet, two desks, and a daybed in the living room for lounging or a nap! Patio under a mature redwood tree for morning coffee or an evening cocktail. Nice light and airy place to work inside or out. Front and side gardens are lush and flowering. Your Petaluma "perch" is so close to downtown it takes mere minutes to enjoy pick up or home delivery dining, hiking, biking, popping out to the coast, or a quick kayak in the river. The mansion studded Oak Hill Brewster Historic District neighborhood is downtown without the noise or traffic! Very friendly and quiet neighbors. Your own patio, separate entrance. No shared spaces (other than we do pass thru to take the trash cans out on Wednesday night!). Our home is basically a triplex, we live upstairs, we have a Master Suite for family downstairs rear (you share one wall) but they also have a separate entrance and patio.
We keep it pet free and down free for those who are sensitive. No smoking, vaping, or e-cigs allowed on or around property. We have an outdoor kitty who sleeps in the garage only. A small indoor dog visits occasionally with our daughter. We ask that you not have doggie visitors except on the patio. Registered Guests only for overnight, but Grandkids are always welcome! Quiet, historic neighborhood. A real home away from home.

This property is a beautiful home. Very quaint. Nice little outdoor patio with beautiful plants and seating. Very quite. I am ready to go back. Carole is a wonderful lady and so accommodating.

This is one of our all-time favorite vacation rentals. The apartment is spacious, very comfortably and warmly furnished, full kitchen, and even basic condiments in the refrigerator. The location is in a charming neighborhood of Victorian houses that is quite walkable - just a few blocks from downtown Petaluma - but also very quiet at night. Carole is very responsive and seems to have thought of everything. We have already booked a return visit for the summer.

I almost don't want to tell you all how AMAZING it was because I want to be able to get in next time we come! Carole is a fantastic host and her space is serene, clean and like a dream. My entire family lives in Petaluma so we come to visit quite often - we are so happy to know Carole now and will ALWAYS try to stay with her. She has truly thought of everything. The most well-appointed rental we have ever stayed in. Thank you Carole for making this trip so perfect!!

If you love to be around wonderfully crafted furniture, unusual paintings, ceramics and more, not to mention a private patio with overhanging enormous trees for a meal or just a cup of something, you will really enjoy this place. Plus the host was just incredibly responsive, getting back to me every time within 15 minutes about whatever question I might have had. Everything you need, tucked into this slightly underground charmer. Not to mention the amazing variety of plants, flowers, trees and shrubs both around this home and the whole neighborhood. Would definitely stay again. Highly recommended.
