"Our stay at the Iona Heights Inn was short, but enjoyable. Location was excellent, scenery was unbelievable. Our room was cozy with lots of hot water in shower. Clean fresh towels & linen. New bedding. We were disappointed there was no full breakfast but the continental breakfast was adequate with some healthy choices. Very nice stay."

"We stayed in the cabin and it was a a basic one room cabin with only microwave and mini fridge. The nicest thing was the rain shower head in the shower. The bed was a queen with little room on each side of it. Probably would have been better with a king room in hotel. You had to request room service as we did after the first day. The other issue is the restaurant on site wasn’t open till 4pm and closed on Monday. The staff is great but they have really limited staffing so they do the best they can as restaurant limits reservations as they are the bartenders, servers, and they clean up the tables plus handle many tables so you need your patience. Also no one is at the desk till 4pm so when you check out you just leave your key at the desk."

"The woman's touch was evident; we didn't have to ask for anything extra, there were ample towels and everything was thought out in advance. The setting was idyllic, peaceful and serene. We enjoyed the meditation zone; it was magical. One should be aware there are no grocery shops or restaurants nearby. One is advised to arrive with supplies needed for your stay. The location is isolated but a welcome respite after days of travel. The Louisbourg fortress is a 35 minute drive away."

"This place is perfect for groups of all ages with lots to do, an abundance of beautiful views, gathering spaces and quiet places.The accessibility to the Bras D'Or Lake is wonderful even our 88 yr old father could drive down to the beach area and take in the beauty! The home has many thoughtful games, books and finishing touches to make the place ideal for a gathering. We loved the large table our big family could gather around. The teens loved the pool table and dart board and the seniors in our group enjoyed the accessibility of the main floor area (large rooms, walk in shower etc). The kitchen was very functional and well equipped. We really enjoyed these exceptional homes and would come back in a heart beat! "
