Perfect home away from home
Our family consists of adult children down to 10 yr. old. All 10 of us stayed very comfortably at the house. The kids utilized the yard for football and play. The neighborhood cats were a treat for the kids as well....coming over for a pet whenever they were out. The house was so clean and well stocked of things you would need for a stay away from home. We will definitely stay again if ever in the area and we will recommend to any friends or family who go to that area.

Amazing Rental Home

Mini vacation
This property couldn’t have been anymore perfect for our family. We were traveling to kings island and Cincinnati for a long weekend get away. We consisted of 4 adults and 6 kids. The kids all had their own bedroom and the adults had their own bedrooms. The house was clean and exactly as it was presented. We all had a great time!

Great place to stay to visit Creation Museum and Ark Encounter
The Rivertown Ranch was a perfect choice for our vacation with family. Everything about it was just as advertised, with plenty of comfortable sleeping space for the four adults and four children in our group. The kitchen was stocked with absolutely everything we needed to make meals and the table was large enough for all of us, including a nice outside table. Two full bathrooms were separated from the bedrooms. Everything was clean and well organized. We enjoyed the drive on the beautiful country roads and the convenience to both our destinations. Communication with the hosts was excellent. Highly recommend.

We enjoyed our stay at the sweet house! It was clean, and had the supplies we needed to have dinners there! Plenty of space for all of us to have our own bed and also some fun movies and games, as well as puzzles for everyone to enjoy! We would recommend this place for sure!!

We visited the Creation Museum, Ark Encounter, Newport Aquarium, pool and parks. Watched movie at night and played board games in this cozy home. Centrally located to restaurants and grocery stores. Also has a small convenient story in Petersburg. Park in town is fenced and enjoyed evening walks.

We came down to celebrate my sister's birthday. We went snow tubing, did a little gambling and had some great food. The house is exactly as listed. Fully stocked kitchen and lots of seating and sleeping space. The house is clean and cozy. The owners were very quick to respond and allowed an early check in. We would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic place to stay for the creation museum and the ark! We also enjoyed the boat launch area by the river, and had fun exploring Lawrenceburg, where we got great coffee and had fun at the new park for the kids. The house has all the basic things that you need, and it is very clean and well-kept. Lots of board games were played at the table, and we were able to make all of her meals with ease. Thank you so much for a wonderful time!

Peaceful Getaway
My family attended a "Creation Vacation" with our church. We loved the property and it was even better than the pictures! The house has everything you need and more. It is very clean comfortable for a larger family. We took a walk around the block to the river and the view was amazing! Close to the Creation Museum and a reasonable drive to the Arc Encounter. We will definitely stay again and we have already recommended the property to others.

Everything was so clean when we arrived and the instructions beforehand were clear and understandable. Very spacious home and had the accommodations we needed. There is a nice convenience store/restaurant less than half a mile from the home. Super friendly staff Highly recommend this home to stay in.

Six adults and one teenager were completely comfortable in this clean, homey, every-little-thing was thought of house. We fixed our meals, played games at the dining table, all slept well and were near the attractions we visited and walking distance to the boat ramp for some fun early morning fishing!

The house accommodations were fine for our family; simple, minimal…interesting set up; no closets, tiny kitchen, small bathrooms but it was clean! The house was darling but, my only complaint would be the beds were uncomfortable As others reviewed the location was definitely remote and the travel in was various windy roads. About 15-20 mins to a local town, which wasn’t ideal traveling the windy roads every time we went out. No issues with check in or owner. Overall happy with the stay.

Ironically two mattresses were delivered within an hour of your checkout and two more are scheduled to be delivered next week. Mattresses are so subjective and may not be the same you have at home. None of the mattresses are old and are of high quality flip-able, non pillow top. (With the exception of the ones we just purchased) The old ones not being pillow top may be the problem. As advertised in the listing we do not recommend the twin beds or sleep sofa for adults or large adolescents. The description of the area is accurate in the listing. The attractions we advertise housing for are also remote. Large chain grocery store and restaurants are 10 miles from the house. The roads are typical of Kentucky back roads winding through the hills. If anyone ever has questions about the listing give us a call. We would be happy to answer your questions Thanks, Dan

This suited is perfectly. Location was a bit off the beaten path but the town was quaint and quiet. It was a 20 minute ride to perfect north and that worked well for us. We would definitely recommend..

The house is in an amazing location. It is right on the river and just down the street from the Creation Museum. The Ark Encounter yet is less than an hour away and the Cincinnati Zoo is 30 minutes away in the other direction. We truly enjoyed our visit and being able to go to a home for supper each night was amazing. The house has all the essentials available. Though I wish there was some closet space, it does have plenty of beds and seating for everyone. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your home.

We visited the Creation Museum and Ark Experience. There were 6 of us adults and had plenty of beds for all of us. The roads were a little curvy getting there but the scenery was worth it. Really wished we'd had time to walk to the river... maybe next time!

Great place to stay to see the Ark Encounter and Creation Museum. Plenty of room and some great amenities. Beds are a little hard and pillows could be better, so may want to bring your own pillow. OK neighborhood, near the river, but no restaurants or full grocery stores for MANY miles so plan accordingly. Comfortably fit our adult group of 9, with room to spare.

We really enjoyed staying at this location. We are a large family so staying somewhere we could have a kitchen and a yard was a huge plus. The house was organized very well, and easy to maintain. It was decorated beautifully, but simple. For such a small house it was really nice to have two bathrooms. It was very small but we had no problem fitting our family in because of how it was organized. We were in town to visit the Ark Encounter and Creation Museum, and it was comfortably close to both. Would definitely stay here again

As another review stated, if you're looking for fancy - look elsewhere. This lovely property has the feel of a vintage cabin, but was the CLEANEST place we stayed on a long trip! The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was pretty tiny, as were the bathrooms, but again - spotless and comfortable. Our group of 7 enjoyed some home-cooked meals and a movie or two. The hosts were VERY good at communicating. Petersburg is a small town, but has great view of the river and is close to the Creation Museum. We recommend.

Great Place for Ark and Creation Museum
We chose this due to location to Ark and Creation Museum, and it worked perfectly! The house was perfect for our family and parents, with plenty of space and nice touches such as games, high chair, etc. It was clean and comfortable! Only negative is that being a country town, there isn’t any place to get gas or food in town. We’d stay here again!

The Rivertown Ranch is a fantastic home! It was just like, or better than, the pictures on the website. The parking area was wonderful, and we appreciated how well-lit it was when we were arriving there at night. The house was very clean and had ample supplies - plenty of toilet paper for 11 people for 6 days, laundry detergent, even an extra dishwashing liquid container below the sink for the one that was running low. The refrigerator looked brand new on the inside, it was so clean! We didn't use the pull-out sofa as a bed, but we used every bed in every bedroom, and they were all very comfortable. There was a garbage container outside, which the owners emptied for us every couple days. That was awesome! The layout of the home was great for our two families. The bathrooms are centrally-located, with bedrooms on both ends of the house (perfect if some guests want quiet time while others are being social.) We appreciated the 'extra touches' of interesting Petersburg and area history available in the house, as well as games and movies. Each bedroom and bathroom has towel / coat hooks - a great idea, and very practical! There were ample kitchen dishes, which we were grateful for. The hot water heater kept up when we had several people shower in a row after a swim day. We would love to stay here again!!

We Have a large family decided to rent this house to stay when we went skied Perfect North. And as a little farther from the slopes. However the house was perfect for us and our family. If it snows the road is a little hilly with sharp curves so please account for that if you use it for a ski vacation. Otherwise We love the location we love the house and we will definitely stay here again.

We met 1/2 way between states of residence for convenience of travel and stayed two full days at the residence. We ranged in age from 85 to 8 and the facility was adequate for our need. It would have been better for our needs if one of the youth beds had be a full-size half-bed; but we made do as the facility provided. The cleanliness was excellent and the amenities were a little taste of our country roots! The nearness of the Creation Museum was an added feature.
