Some pros some cons

A beautiful former hotel with great architecture and landscaping. Very difficult to find the property and parking without signs. The pool was green and unusable and the property was listed as being on the beach but was actually a ten minute walk the property also boasts a poolside bar, wine tasting room, dining, and a host of nearby attractions that so not exist.

This apart-hotel is wonderful: big rooms, great sea view, swimming-pools and of course - Ranka was the best host ever. You also need to know that this property is far from any stores so to buy food or go to the restaurant you must walk. If you are in a good physical shape, it will take about 20 -30 min. You will have to go down the hill and take a walk along the beach, through three tunnels and again along the sea shore. On your way back it will be up the hill. To take a taxi cost 15euro one way. Everything else was impressive. The nature and the sea are a real paradise. People are very nice. I would visit this place again.

Relaxing holiday

A lovely relaxing stay in an apartment that easily catered for a family of four. Views out to sea with a swimming pool (two) to cool off after a day of exploring. A short journey to the beach and easy access to the nearest town. ( via a hidden tunnel!) Looking forward to returning.

Perfect for families

Nice place, large apartment with two bedsrooms, two bathrooms, living room with kitchen, view to the sea from three balconies and close to the beach - 2-3 mins walk. Two restaurants at the beach for lunch and drinks. The beach is not crowded, and is perfect for families. Very helpful and kind Natalia at Pietra Mare Apartments - she did everything to make our vacation as good as possible. 15-20 minutes walk in tunnels and along the sea to small town Petrovac with lots of restaurants. Taxi from Petrovac to Pietra Mare Apartments is €10. Lovely place for a quiet stay with access to restaurants a little walk away.

Lovely apartments, fantastic hosts. Chilled place

Idyllic setting above a lovely chilled beach (ideally take water shoes as the sea is pebbly but the water is crystal clear).Roman and Natalia were absolutely lovely, very helpful and thoughtful hosts, we were very grateful for the complimentary beer, wine, water and soda on arrival. The beach is a short walk down the hill and steps ( takes a little longer to get back up to the apartments though!) The beach has sunbeds/ umbrellas in summer season, 10 euros per day and beach bar/ restaurant, toilets and showers There is also a large unfinished/ abandoned hotel at one end of the beach, but it adds to the cool atmosphere! There's a beautiful, 2km walk alongside the coastline and through tunnels ( reasonably well lit and feels very safe) and through pine forest which is paved into the nearby town of Petrovac. It is mostly fairly flat except a short climb up back out of the town to return and has gorgeous views. If needed or after dark, you can easily get a taxi instead for around 10 euros Petrovac is a very clean, pretty town with some lovely restaurants. Montenegro is a stunning country and the people everywhere are all very polite, helpful and friendly. If you want lively night life and loud music this is not for you, but if you want to completly relax then it is ideal.
