"The location was great walking around old city. To make up for this the staff were brilliant. A special thanks to Khazar and Cemil. We had a visa issue so arrived 3 hours late and they resent the driver to pick us during rush hour. They also helped organise trips late the day before including private driver trip to Sheki. Breakfast was good and regularly topped up. The only recommendation would be to make the rooms a bit more modern. They are basic and functional but not four star.Thanks to all the staff at Sunday for making it a memorable trip in lovely Azerbaijan."

"The staff were very helpful, accommodating and friendly. The free breakfast was expansive with beautiful views of Old City and the Flame Towers. Nizami Street, Flame Towers, Old City, Caspian Sea, Malls, Train, Taxi’s were all within close walking distance, making the hotel location ideal. A shuttle (taxi) was provided to/from the airport for 25 manat each way. The shuttle driver was already waiting for us at the airport with our name on display for us to easily find him. The rooms were clean, safe and well maintained. The cleaning staff came daily and our room was spotless. We were only women traveling and we felt very safe and entirely comfortable. I would, 100/100 stay here again. I wish the hotel endless success as they are very kind to us and made our stay as comfortable as possible, and for that we are grateful."

"The location of the hotel was excellent, situated in a very convenient area (Iceriseher) right near the Neftciler Avenue, making it very easy to access. Furthermore, the staff was truly commendable; they were highly responsive throughout our stay and consistently helpful whenever we had requests. While housekeeping did consistently make the bed each day, their overall service standards felt a bit inconsistent; for example, on some days the used glasses were not collected, and on others, the complimentary tea and coffee were not replenished. Regarding the room facilities, there were a few maintenance issues that impacted our comfort. Some of the furnishings were showing their age, and the mattress had noticeable sagging in certain areas. In the bathroom, there was no designated holder for toothbrushes, forcing us to place them on the edge of the sink, and the shower door leaked water onto the floor, which made it quite difficult to keep the room dry after showering. Additionally, the electrical outlets seemed worn out as they failed to hold plugs securely, causing them to fall out frequently. Despite these challenges, the helpful staff and great location were the highlights of our stay."
