"I cannot compliment this hotel enough!! I did not want to leave!! The room was clean and comfortable. The grounds were amazing. There was a 5000 year old stone tomb on the property down a path. Great breakfast. Everything you need on site and gorgeous!!"

"Excellent location and beautiful inside with very friendly helpful staff. First class breakfast for just 10 euro if booked at reception. Plenty of secure parking. Slight criticism regarding room being cold which we reported but wasn't fixed but manager was very apologetic next day. Olga on reception was SO helpful. "

"I had a pleasant stay overall. The bed was very comfortable, and I especially enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere of the restaurant and bar, where the live music was a highlight. However, one area that could be improved is the customer service. Unlike many hotels I’ve stayed at in Europe, there didn’t seem to be much of a focus on warm greetings or friendliness toward guests. From arrival through to check-out, I didn’t feel particularly welcome, and the interaction with the receptionist felt a bit impersonal—“just ok and next” summed up the attitude."

"We loved this place. Out of town a bit but beautiful area. The pub attached to the hotel was lively. Had a great meal at the Smugglers Rest up the road. Comfortable bed and a great shower. Breakfast was also wonderful. Would highly recommend."

"The Bellinter was delightful! What a beautiful property! When we arrived, and saw the Mansion and grounds in person, it was even more breathtaking! This is a Palladian Georgian mansion dating back to the mid 1700’s. The staff are wonderful- attentive, kind and affable (thanks so much Ger for your kindness in serving the 3 of us!). This would be the *perfect* wedding venue- it has all the “goodies” a new couple would want to share with their families- lavish, classy, well-appointed…wish we could have spent more time enjoying the grounds (there’s even the old carriage road leading to the mansion if you look for it!)- the rooms were comfortable and well-appointed- we stayed in the historic “stables”- we’ll be back! "

"Not sure about this hotel being 4 stars - I may have just been in one of the older rooms that need some maintenance - but actually I’m glad I was there. The rooms have a good amount of space, good sound proofing (had some noisy neighbors that you could here in the hall but not once in the room), loved the complimentary filtered water in the glass carafe. Breakfast is good and staff is friendly. The restaurant is very good with reasonable prices. You don’t even need a car to stay here if coming from Dublin. The bus drops you off close to the hotel. Also, was a brisk 18-20+minute walk to the main town where I went twice, for dinner and to catch the bus to spend the afternoon at Trim. This is a great location and great choice for staying in the Boyne Valley."
