"Wonderful and clean! Top notch staff! The colonial grill onsite is also excellent and the service is great! We will be back! The only thing that was tough was the WiFi seemed to go in and out."

"Wasn't happy with the dirty floors if my room, they definitely don't mop. It's all lvp floors obviously since it's a water park. The view of the dumpsters from my room was amazing as well. Too small of water activities and to many rooms. Very glad I got the deal I did from Expedia and that we only stayed the one night. Had the buffet and if the health department showed up the place would be shut down. Food was definitely sitting out too long and the staff there was to busy having small talk then checking food temperatures or helping out it's guests, only fresh thing was the flank steak but of course greedy patrons were taking whole steaks so they wait for steak was horrible. Unless you have small kids stay away far away"

"Room was very clean and comfortable and cool on a hot summer day. The property was very well taken care of. The staff was caring and helpful. For a relatively inexpensive road side motel I loved it. All roadside motels should gauge themselves to the Windmill Motel."

"This is the 2nd time I've stayed at this property and it won't be my last!I am originally from the area and it's a perfect place to hang my hat while visiting friends. Hosts Crystal and Stan are the absolute best! They address any issues promptly and with courtesy!Having coffee on the patio in the morning, overlooking the lake was one of my favorite times of the day!Thanks!"

"We loved the charm, We understand it was under construction(would have been good to know but would still have booked) It was warm in the one back bedroom even with a fan. Layout was great. Neighbor was great too. Minor things were a lot of spider webs inside. Some dishes needed washing but not a deal breaker. Screen doors needed adjustment to close. nothing I wasn't able to fix for them. Convenient to everything( stores, movies, ice cream) major plus. Look forward to going back. would like to see a rate break for a week long stay though. Lake was amazing with the paddle boards and kayaks included along with fishing gear. Kids loved it."
