Spacious rooms spoilt by lack of hot water for morning shower
Although breakfast was included in the price which one of the reasons we chose this hotel they closed the kitchen for 3 days for Cambodia new year with no apology for no breakfast
The hotel was great. Unfortunately they did their best to deal with the unruly Chinese guests that surrounded our room and broke the hotel policy of not smoking so we were forced to leave after day 10.
PROS:
• Decent size room
• Nice desk and workspace
• Comfortable bed
CONS:
• Very slow internet
• Very noisy

Nice first impression, then not so good.
This hotel has a lot going for it. Everything feels new and fresh, rooms are big with comfy beds, location is nice, TV is larger than usual, most of the staff are very friendly and at $25 per night with breakfast included it seemed to be a good deal aswell. However, during my 2 week stay, a few negative became apparent:
* There's something strange with the wifi that makes Netflix think it's run through an illegal proxy and then refuses to stream. Also the TV signals are really bad, so the only way to enjoy entertainment on the TV is to connect a computer and watch offline content.
* Water in the shower never gets hot. On some days it's so cold that I actually had to skip shower.
* Even if booking room for 2 persons you might get charged for bringing guest to the room. This depends on who works in the reception at the time you bring a guest. It seemed very irregular so I asked for a receipt and the staff refused to make one. I was also refused to talk to a supervisor. When I said that I refuse to pay if he couldn't produce a receipt, then I was refused to bring the guest to my room. At this point I didn't want to argue any more so I just paid. The combination of unexpected costs and refusal of staff to produce a receipt when demanding money from guest just seem very unprofessional and gives you an uneasy feeling.
This was my first time staying in Phnom Penh so I dont have much to compare to. The building and common areas look to be in pretty good shape, the staff was amazing. They were friendly, spoke pretty good english and were just overall genuinely pleasant people. My only issue was the room. The room stayed hot the entire time, even with the ac on, and bathroom had mildew stains throughout the shower floor. I've since stayed in another hotel in Cambodia, but not Phnom Penh, and would venture to guess that these are pretty common hotel room issues in Cambodia. The location seemed to be right next to a street with bars and nightlife...?
I stayed at the hotel for 1 night. I wish I could rate it more than 5 stars! The staffs are extremely helpful and friendly. They provided many information for sightseeing and sorted out every problems during my stayed. The conditions of hotel are great. It is also fantastic that breakfast are tasty. Most important thing is the deluxe twin room is big and comfortable! Although there was a problem that we didn’t have hot water for shower, the staffs let us use Sauna instead. Besides, the soundproof could be better. Staying here means you can enjoy the time in Phnom Penh for sure. The hotel is new furbished and clean. Location is convenient for tourists to go sightseeing. Highly recommended for everyone!
having used so may hotels in cambodia , this one is a little odd ,...yes its fine ,but it is not very inviting , theres no colour ,it looks bland ,,, fake wood flooring and white walls albeit with a painting on , ...its just bland ,bland bland . ..stayed at so many phnom penh hotels ,.... some with bright airy rooms and carpets ,this hotel doesnt have either ,,, but what it does have is probably the best most comfortable bed that i have ever slept in , a very good forceful shower in the bathroom ,.....very helpful staff , parking ....and a very good breakfast
The hotel is freshly reburfbished, clean and comfortable. The bed is perhaps the comfiest we've slept in in SE Asia. The shower is hot and the pressure good although it is only an overhead rain shower. The air con is good. Some English TV channels. Free bottled water daily and housekeeping. Breakfast was okay - limited selection and the coffee could be better. Wish they did a plate of fruit or something that wasn't just bread and Eggs in different forms. Staff were helpful and attentive. Hotel is very close to pub street. We didn't have a street facing room so heard no noise. However, our window looked straight onto the balcony of the house opposite (no more than a metre away) which resulted in us keeping our curtains closed the whole time. We paid half the price online than the price the hotel advertises in their reception - which we feel is too expensive for what you get. For example shower temperature was intermittent and breakfast options were limited. Otherwise a great stay. A 10 minutes walk to the palace and riverside.

another hotel in a quiet area
well we are glad that we had a very good price for this hotel ,but it is not worth ,and i wouldnt have paid the original price , thought that the rooms .while fresh .were somewhat bland ,and not inviting , very spartan , on a par with other cheap hotels ,thought that the bathroom was nothing special and on the small side
