Last minute change in the location caused us some issues in transportation planning.The house has some obvious damage and wear and tear, generally run down.Outdoor pool area lighting not functional.Garbage was overflowing in the cans in the driveway.Door jamb on door from garage to interior space is damaged

We were very disappointed because this property is marketed as a luxury stay, but it is clearly very run down and poorly maintained. There was animal hair throughout the home, and overall cleanliness did not meet expectations. The pool — which was a major reason we chose this house — was unfortunately quite dirty and not enjoyable to use.At checkout we were unable to lock the door, which was concerning.The only positive was that the host was kind enough to allow our daughters’ volleyball team to come over and swim, and we appreciated that gesture.This home has a lot of potential, but it needs significant attention and better management to match the way it is being advertised.

Disliked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy
Did not receive any communication from the host regarding check-in, door code, etc. On the day of check-in, I sent a message to inquire what was needed. I then received a message from the host, less then 4 hours prior to check-in, informing us that there were plumbing issues and that we had to cancel our stay. We did receive a full refund, which is the bare minimum I would have expected. Host was apologetic and I suppose checking in to a home with septic issues would have been worse, but having a stay cancelled with less than 4 hours notice when we had family memebers en route from multiple states was horrible. It seems that more notice should have been provided. Clearly they knew there was an issue since no check-in information was provided the day prior. Trying to find alternate accomodations at the last minute in an area where availability was sparse was both stressful and ended up costing us much more than we'd planned on. Made logistics for a family gathering for a funeral very difficult.
