"Location is very walkable to downtown amenities. The graduation venue- beautiful Orpheum Theater- we attended was not only across the street, we were able to see it from our room. Hot weekend visit to Phoenix was memorable… got to know downtown, nearby Roosevelt District and visited two museums and a Japanese Friendship garden in addition to the medical school graduation. All done without a car… hotel is conveniently close to transit and easy access from airport."

"We found much of the staff to be somewhat standoffish during our stay. The young man working at the watch bar was really the only employee who consistently engaged with us and made us feel welcomed. On our last day, we had breakfast at Blue Coyote, and although our waitress eventually warmed up to us, it unfortunately happened as we were paying the bill and getting ready to leave. That said, the stay itself was enjoyable, and the views from our room were absolutely wonderful and one of the highlights of the trip. Overall, while the property and scenery were beautiful, the service experience felt inconsistent and could have been more welcoming throughout our visit."

"Disappointing Experience – Not Worth the Cost I wanted to love our stay here, but unfortunately, the Arizona Grand Resort fell incredibly short of expectations. The Food: Mediocre at best. Room service was expensive and they didn’t even get the drinks right, For a resort of this tier, we expected much higher quality, but the dining options were underwhelming and definitely didn't match the price point. The Pools & Grounds: The pools were packed to capacity and noticeably dirty. One of the maintenance people was working on the pool adding chemicals while me and my children were in it. Beyond that, many of the property's amenities felt poorly maintained and dated. The entire property simply isn't what I expected based on how it's advertised. Billing & Cost: To top it off, the final cost breakdown made absolutely no sense. I do appreciate the staffs willingness to try to help and work it out! The one saving grace was the staff—they were very kind and polite throughout our stay. When I brought up the confusing charges, they mentioned they would work on fixing it, which I do appreciate. However, great service can't fully make up for a dirty environment and subpar facilities. Overall, it was a pretty poor experience. Between the maintenance issues and the lack of value, we will not be visiting again."
