This property is truly 5 star. The moment you walk on the property it feels like a resort. The rooms are beautifully designed with the most comfortable bed I have ever slept on in a hotel. Every staff member deserves a raise because they truly make it feel like a 5 star hotel. I casually mentioned we were celebrating my wife’s birthday and within 20 mins of arrival, they brought us a card and free champagne. Tacos at Lylo were some of the best tacos we’ve ever tasted. Pool was very relaxing. Recommend staying in the poolside rooms you get free lounge chair reservations. The balcony is beautiful and you can sit outside and hear music all day. Resort is very quiet at night time and you’ll wake up to awesome views. Will definitely be back to visit!

So glad you had a good time! We strive to make everyone's stay the perfect one! So happy we were able to do that for you. We hope to see you again soon!
The property was very dated, but the grounds are kept. Reminded me of staying in a motel in the 70s. They actually offer popsickles, a turntable and vinyl records at check in.

Having the front desk in a popsicle stand (seriously) was confusing. The roof bar was never open. The area is dangerous and has limited amenities (except the excellent 'Belly' restaurant across the street).
This property was great! The room was spacious, updated, and the pool area was an awesome space to hang out! We picked our free boozy popsicles, enjoyed a drink during happy hour on the rooftop terrace, and had lunch at LYLO. Cartel coffee on site was a great stop before heading to the pool! We really enjoyed this place and will definitely be back for another staycation in AZ :)
We got in at 4:15p and our room wasn’t ready. Were told to hang out at the hotel bar, where my complimentary drink voucher wasn’t accepted. Shower also leaked into the room.

We stayed on the 3rd floor directly beneath the rooftop bar and it was actually miserable. The bass shook our entire bed and the mirrors were literally bouncing off the wall. I get better sleep camping at music festivals than I did staying in my hotel room here. If you’re going to have rooms that close to an outdoor rooftop bar playing music loud af with a subwoofer vibrating the entire building, you absolutely need to make sure those rooms have SOME soundproofing. I am not one to complain ever, especially about noise, but I have never experienced worse noise issues in a hotel in my entire life and if I had known this was going to be an issue, I never would have stayed here. Not worth it at all. I stayed here with my mom which was a big mistake. The rooftop bar has their hours listed as closing at midnight. I When I called the front desk to complain about the noise, they then stated it was ending at 2am. They said that they had already received several noise complaints from other guests and that they would relay the message and ask them to turn it down. They didn’t. In fact, it got LOUDER between 12-2am. There is a noise ordinance and they are not following it whatsoever. We had to be up by 5am the next morning and I was fuming. The staff did nothing to remedy the issue, even though so many guests were infuriated. There is a city noise ordinance and they aren’t following it whatsoever.
Overall we enjoyed our stay at the hotel. We loved the check-in popsicle and the complimentary drink everyday was a nice touch. The overall aesthetic was very nice!

We appreciate your review! We're happy you enjoyed your stay and the yummy popsicles! We hope to see you again soon!
What a cool gem of a stay at Rise. Very friendly staff and love the boozy and non boozy popsicles at check in, as well as never ending waters. The decor of my room was cool - love the space and record player - comfortable bed. No in room coffee maker if that matters to travelers.
Room was nice and clean - smallest bit of mildew in shower on shelf but not a true issue. Nice robes. The pool area is fun and comfortable with more friendly staff. Didn’t get to sit at bar but loved the way it was done. Very close to light rail as well.
As a solo female traveler I felt safe but did wish there was more lighting when I had to walk a far corner alone to access my hallway.
Another bonus was Cartel Coffee is right there and down the street an easy to walk to other dining establishments. Happy hours at Rise also from 4-6pm.
Make it a point to book a stay here. It’s unique, well appointed and offers a great location.

There is a hidden resort fee of about $35/day which increased my daily rate to $300/night. When I found out about it on check-in an asked if I had a choice, I was told no. It is for parking (I took a Lyft from the airport), water and a popsicle. I got one free popsicle for $163.25. It felt very deceptive.

Hello Edward. I do apologize that you were not made aware of the Rise Experience Fee. When booking through Expedia, it is listed in the pay details. If you made the reservation over the phone, They should have told you about the pricing during the booking. The Rise Experience Fee, includes parking, popsicles, unlimited water, free social hour cocktail and lounge chairs. Like many hotels who have resort fees, they are not optional. I do hope you give us another chance
This place is great and super fun. Our room was directly under the rooftop bar, which made sleeping difficult. I would advise anyone making an appointment to avoid that area.
Also, when I booked through Expedia, there was no mention of a resort fee. The fee didn't break the bank, but it was an additional $120 that wasn't expected.
The staff were outstanding!
I am typically a hotel "snob" but I went with a friend and we needed a less expensive hotel.......I have stayed at all of the super nice hotels in Phoenix, and I have to say this is a FAVORITE!!! They upgraded my room and it was FABULOUS. The decor is so so cute! The property is really cute as well! We just sat at the pool - and almost had it all to ourselves! I will be back for sure!!!
Checking in was easy and the people here are incredibly helpful, friendly, and courteous! The rooms are unique and spacious. A few kinks but easily fixed. Food at the restaurant was really good. Guac was out of this world. Pool is nice but too cold to swim. Hoping to come back again to try it out!

We were very happy with the roomy clean room and the staff. We did have a stranger on our third floor balcony in the middle of the night! That was terrifying. Not sure was up but the guy climbed back over when my husband yelled at him. Scary! Other than that, the hotel is very nice. Staff is incredible and it was the nicest hotel bed I’ve ever slept in.
Property was beautiful, quaint, well landscaped with greenery and luxury touches. It happened to rain, and the entrance to my room was uncovered/exposed to the elements. Water was tracked throughout, making it very slippery and messy. Need more rugs, welcome or door mats, etc. Not having a phone to call for more towels, pillows, blankets etc. in the room was new haha
