The property is in a good location where only a few options are available. The hotel is due for new carpeting, updated A/C units, and better beds. But overall in decent shape, and helpful staff.

I will start out by saying that the desk staff was very accommodating when I asked for an early check-in and a late check-out. However, when I booked the room, it had said balcony, and instead we got a patio. I had wanted a balcony because I wanted to look out, I didn't want to be on the ground level. So keep this in mind when booking here.

The property was a perfect location for what we needed (Mayo Clinic). The first night there it took forever to get food. Several days they were without hot water. Our neighbors upstairs were very loud at all hours of the night and many mornings we had to get up early. The sink did not drain properly. The swimming pool/hot was locked because the lights had gone out. We do have to say Ali was the most accommodating. She listened to us and tried everything she could to help.

Really nice updated hotel. Staff are exceptionally friendly. Never dined in the small cafe that offers breakfast and dinner. Pool area is really nice with lots of loungers and umbrellas. Only negative thing-the carpet in the hallways needs a goid cleaning.
