Almost good, but not quite
The overall experience of living here was a little bit disappointing.
On pictures the hotel looks very nice, but like most of sunset town it's superficial. After checking in we discovered that everything is a bit more run down and fake. The soundsproofing of the rooms is very poor, and specifically the door of the room. So there is a lot of noise from the hallway and the elevator. It makes a noise at every stop, and you hear it very well in the room no matter which floor it stops at. Also next to our room there was a pump of some sort that made constant noise that was very audible in our room.
Also. Be sure to check if there is any event taking place at the rooftop. We stayed over new years eve. Not wanting to live at a party hotel we chose this one, but they had a new years part at the rooftop without any prior notice. No problem with them having a party, but we would have liked to be informed beforehand as there was no mention of this at booking time, or before arrival. Sleeping is impossible with a party going on seeing the soundsproofing is very poor.
Also a big let down was that when ordering they used as a selling point that there was free ticket to cable car and water park. This has been discontinued, also without notice to us before arriving. The value of these tickets is the same as one nights stay, so it made the visit quite a lot more expensive for us than planned.
The positives of this place is the receptionist / owner is super helpful. and location good
