"Amazing. Wow. One of our best trips ever. The river is amazing. We have seen nothing but wildlife and boats Very secluded. Very private. Huge barges, pontoons, fishing boats. Large amount of birds, fish, turtles, raccoons, deer, squirrels, possums, armadillos, coyotes, I dont think I ever saw this many cranes. In the morning we would see 5 fly by at a time - over and over.The breeze has been blowing upstream for 3 days (?). This morning it did stop and the river fogged over. This is a small cabin, but seems much larger bc of the porch and the space under the house. Its really only 20 minutes from Columbus but it seems like it’s on the Frontier or something. The cabin is really neat. Well built. Very well built. Spotless clean."

"It was the cutest experience. It’s not a stay it is an experience. The host is truly the most beautiful person full of history and stories. Every single thing in this house has a story and I enjoyed learning so much during the tour. The breakfast was amazing and a beautiful spread. I can never stay at a hotel after this. I will always look for bed and breakfast first. Oh! And so many photo opportunities all around the house in porch and yard. It was perfection. Also not haunted 🤗"

"We were in town for a concert. The office was closed when we got there, and they lost our reservation. They didn’t have the room available we requested. They said they were all booked up, but there was only one other car there. The rooms were old, but very clean. There was no hand soap, or any other toiletries. Make sure you bring your own shampoo, conditioner and body wash. There was never anyone in the office for clean towels or to restock toilet paper. WiFi and internet doesn’t not work well at all in the room. "

"Overall, this place is a good stay. If it were just me and the boys, all is mostly perfect, especially given the price and location on the river. With that being said, I booked this stay with the wive, kids, and father-in-law during a State football weekend. Don't show up looking for 5-star linens and towels. The soap in the bathrooms and kitchen hasn't been replaced in a long time because the cleaning people have kept adding water to the bottles to where it's just water in them. There was a very old kitchen scrub pad that had seen a lot of bad stuff. The stay could have been a lot better if the dart board worked and the pool table had better felt on it and sticks with real tips. It looks like the newer doc is getting steps which will be a great addition to access. We still fished and caught several small cats which was a lot of fun! Roasted smores on the firepit was the highlight of the weekend! Better access instructions to which particular driveway would have been greatly appreciated! Thanks! I would stay again for a guys trip."
