"Staff was not professional or even there needed them several times for different problems and each time no one was at the desk and had to call them and wait for them to arrive which at one point we were told would be right there and 25 minutes later finally after another guest called who was waiting also finally showed up. Once in our room couldn’t find the T.V remote anywhere after asking the front desk about this and being told by them that it was in my room somewhere just have to look for it, they found the one assigned to our room in the drawer which the back was broke on it, they handed it to me went to use it didn’t work. So had to go back to the front desk where the worker finally came up to the room and tried to reprogram a new remote which after all said and done you could only change the channel and nothing else. The air conditioner in the room was unplugged when we arrived so we plugged it in and used once the room was cooled down we tried to shut it off but it wouldn’t obviously the reason why it was unplugged. Lastly even though I paid for my room thru hotels.com completely they charged me again which they told me they didn’t until I proved it to them and then was finally refunded the second charge they day after. And the room had lots of broken items in the room."

"The door was old and jammed. The fire alarm went off at 4 AM for no reason. No bottled water available. "

"Room ran about $100 first part of May; however, fitted sheet kept falling off the bed in the middle of the night and bed cover was not very appealing for comfort. Kleenex box fell right out of the wall. Hair left in the shower drain and it was stuck to the walls. Outlet missing cover. Curtain rod broken and pieces left in the room. The other room we had, the TV was broken and the bathroom door wouldn’t shut due to being broken all the way. Not the cleanest."

"This property is wonderful for Spring! Sitting on the front porch with a breeze is very relaxing.A little disappointed that there wasn't any written information on local tv channels if the weather was bad it would be nice to have a list along with check out procedures. Went and bought dishclothes and dishtowels. Light over bathroom sink didnt work. All minor inconveniences. There is a nice grill in the back area that would have been nice to use, it didnt have any fuel and it would be too expensive to purchase a tank for 5 days.Lots of brochures with great information on things to do and about SD. The walking trail and park are beautiful! Loved waking up to the beautiful view of the river area, you can't find a view like that just anywhere. We felt safe in this house and no stairs is a great attribute for us as senior citizens. YES we would rent again!"

"All around great place to stay for any occasion. Communication and information from the host is outstanding. "
