"I changed rooms twice!! Noise and dirty tiles in bathroom!! Room was still super noisy did not have a great sleep!! Breakfast was picked over and looked unpresentable! Hot water was cold"

"Decided to head north during our spring break and were lucky to find this place. You could hear the sound of the waves as soon as we stepped out of the car. The house is a bit quirky, but that adds to the charm. Our 2 teenage boys enjoyed having bedrooms/bathroom to themselves up the first set of stairs, with mom & dad staying in the main floor bedroom. Rooms were comfortable. The real star was the great room with spectacular views of Lake Superior - simply amazing! We spent a lot of time sitting in the "lookout loft" (as we called it) watching the waves. The first night we were treated to endless stars and northern lights. On the last evening there was a wind advisory; we watched the waves increase in size as the day went on, never tiring of the sound of them crashing against the shore. It was too cold for us to sit outside on the deck, but it is large with Adirondack chairs - would be lovely in warmer weather. We did use the kitchen for quick meals/leftovers and easily found whatever we needed. Location is close enough to Grand Marais to grab some dinner or groceries, also close enough to Grand Portage to get a meal and check out the High Falls. Shayla was responsive and easy to communicate with.We enjoyed our stay and would go back! Every one of us said we would love to see the shore there in the summer."

"Everything was amazingly over the top with the decorative accessory and my husband didn't want to leave after feeling the water pressure in the shower!! Highly recommend"
