"Very well maintained rooms and hallways. The staff was excellent and helpful. Breakfast was ok. Typical Continental. I’m allergic to dairy so I’d really like to see labeling. I asked on one item and the staff did go to check for me. I don’t think I should have to ask. All I could see that was safe was hard boiled eggs and fruit."

"If you are looking for a perfect view of lake Superior and like to hear the sound of the waves, this is the place. It is as close to the water as you can get with a beautiful observation area on the second floor, along with nice views from just about anyplace in the house. Great rock formations just bellow the house. Not a place for swimming. It also has a wonderful wood burning fireplace."
