Welcome to Grandma's! This cozy 2 story farm home has been filled with love and laughter for many years. Come enjoy this spacious home where great memories are made!

*** Please note: the base price is for 2 guest. Please be sure to add the correct number of guest when you are booking your stay***
*** An additional cleaning fee of $50 will be added for parties of 5 or more.***

-Pet Fees- There is a $50.00 fee (no more than 2 dogs)
-Please include this fee in your payment on VRBO by clicking the pets button before you pay.
-If dogs are known to be in the main living part of the house, an additional $250.00 carpet cleaning fee will be added

Family wedding vacation

Very cute and nostalgic place to gather with our family for the weekend. We enjoy all the history of the place. Everything was very clean and well kept.

Very cozy and comfy. Charming 1900’s era farmhouse redone in 50’s Grandmas house! Loved it!!! Plenty of room but cozy with the grandkids in Grammys bed.

Family reunion

We truly enjoyed our stay in this farmhouse. There was plenty of room for the entire family. We also enjoyed reading through the history of the house and looking at the pictures of the original owners.

Felt just like Grandma’s house

We enjoyed our stay at Grandma’s house. It was very clean and cozy. From the time we got out of the car there music was playing from the carport, then fresh lemon water and snacks waiting for us, the personal touches made us feel at home. Jennifer and Hope’s communication and hospitality is unmatched.

Pikeville Blessing!!

What a great place for a family vacation. It is literally like going to Grandma’s house, it has everything you need. The price is unbelievable and the owner could not have been nicer answering all my text questions before we arrived. You are in the country but minutes away from the city. A historic house. A nice playground on the other side of the church next door. It can easily house 12 people. Deck seating and carport. Truly a home away from home!! Thank you Jennifer!!!

Like stepping back in time…

Everything about it reminded me of visiting my Aunt Betty’s house when I was a little girl… pulling board games out of the closet, shelves of books, the piano, and the barn out back. The location was perfect and easy to access, and the house had everything needed to make our stay enjoyable. Thank you!

I couldn't ask for any better. From the begging to the end Hope was extremely helpful. It was like I had known her for a long time! Everything went along smoothly. it was so cozy!! I was able to see all of my Family some I haven't seen for years. All I can say is Thank you so Much!

Grandma's was just what we needed :)

We needed a place to stay while in town for a wedding, and this home was perfect for our needs. We were able to bring our dogs and the sun room was a perfect place for them to be protected and closeby while we were in the home (baby gate worked great). The shower was great, the master bed was comfortable, the side porch and front porch were perfect for hanging out and just chatting over coffee/drinks. We even brought our guitars and played some on the carport while my husband grilled a home cooked meal. That house has stories and character! But it was exactly what we needed. Very close by to a few Dollar Generals, Walmart in Goldsboro less than 10 min away, and right off the interstate.

Satisfied our needs for the visit

The property was available for our visit to the area, and close enough to Goldsboro. The property is old and that’s what the listing says, some of the old quirks of the property were harder to work around than others, no bathrooms on the top floor, plenty of doors to pass through to get any where in the home, other than the suite the other bathroom is only accessible through the living and kitchen. We did have an ant problem on the last day on the counters and sink in the kitchen. Owners were very nice and communicative, appreciate the note on the fridge for our family, the home being available to house everyone on the trip was a huge plus

It Served the purpose

The house served our purpose. We werer in Town visiting family and to see a local theater production. We had a large group of 10. The house accommodated our needs. However the house was in need of a updating the banister to the stairs was unsafe and the walpapaer in the kitchen was coming down. It felt as if the owners packed thier essentials and left for the weekend. Lots of personal items in the house. We were grateful for a place in Goldsboro to accommodate our group and the beds slept nicely but I dont feel it is a home that we will use in future visits to the area.

Great for big family, bring a hot spot

One thing I appreciated about this property was the kitchen being fully stocked with enough to make an actual meal. A lot of places just have a couple of sad little pans that you can't actually make a meal for a big family with. Also this property included plenty of towels and nice toilet paper, which is another thing that seems to be lacking in a lot of places you stay. It's very clean and nice, but it's not so fancy that you worry about your little ones messing things up. Very comfortable. Very prompt communication from the host. A few things to be aware of - the WiFi is *very* spotty. Don't plan on streaming videos. The property is right on the highway, and it's right up on a church.

awesome property in Wayne County

This 2 story farm house was the perfect place for my large family to gather and enjoy a terrific weekend in Wayne County, NC. Prop was beautifully decorated inside along with attractive landscaping outside. The front porch of the house was the perfect place to take family pictures. The owners really outdid themselves in the outside presentation of this prop. Upon our arrival, we found the interior of this house immaculately cleaned and presented. The kitchen pantry was well stocked. In fact, I have never visited any vrbo prop that had such a well-stocked pantry along with all the kitchen items you would need to prepare a large family meal. The bathrooms also were well-stocked (towels, soaps, shampoo) along with several personal touches that made these bathrooms very inviting. Each bedroom was roomy with charming furniture and thoughtfully decorated. My family certainly enjoyed looking at all décor, books, painting, photographs, and other items that made this prop so interesting and welcoming. My wife and I were extremely glad we discovered this prop since we needed to host a large family gathering during our weekend visit to Goldsboro area. We had plenty of parking, along with outdoor and indoor spaces for family to enjoy themselves. The kids really enjoyed seeing the owner’s nearby farm animals along with all that outdoor space to play. The owner was extremely quick to respond to any questions we had during our visit. As the owner lives nearby, she also visited to ensure everything was in order and to solicit any suggestions we might have for future renters. Overall, this property was a real hit with my family. We certainly look forward to returning.

Really is Just Like Grandma's House

Loved the house and location. Very good communication with the owners. Very comfy. The only problem was the mustiness of the house. Affected mine and my daughter's allergies. I didn't let my other daughter and granddaughter stay with us there because of it.

Very great location. We loved the porches on the house and sat outside to play games, laugh, talk and laugh some more. Went to Rudy theater which was nearby and did some shopping.

Property was not clean, musty, moldy, dusty. Did a walk through and asked for a refund. Property owner was helpful in getting refund. Outside of the house was nice, but not inside.

It has everything!

This property is charming, in a great location, and has everything you can think of!! We were pleasantly surprised (even after reading previous reviews) with the all of amenities Grandma’s House has. The owners are super nice and very accommodating. Will definitely stay here again!
